    Jack,
Their knowledge evolved from nothing. It started out as nothing, then slowly after billions of years of floating around the lifeless rocks, poof! a bolt of lightening strikes the water and all of a sudden there was knowledge! Kinda like Frankenstein, only a little smarter... maybe.

If you want to learn about a work of art, a symphony, a painting, a book, the work, if it's good, speaks for itself. You'd only look at the artist's life for details but it's not necessary. You can just as well analyze a Bach fugue without ever knowing he had 20 children.

The same way, if you want to learn about the Universe, look at the Universe.

It amazes me how many people think they know about the cosmos and its origins, without ever looking at it. let alone studying it.

Really is no-one going to say anything about that to does ? God couldn't help you spell to those. I learn from other smart people. You go ahead though keep doing your thing.

All religions require that the believer has 'faith'.

'Faith' means to believe without question - because to question means you have doubt and having doubt means you do not truly believe. This is called a 'circular argument' - it supports itself and precludes all alternatives.

If you do not ask questions you will not acquire knowledge.

Ergo all religion equates with ignorance - it is actually the enemy of knowledge - and it promotes prejudice and persecution.

Apostle Jack, your question deserves proper spelling and grammer, right now it is nonsensical.  You might try using the word "those' instead of "does" cause I aint from Jersey pal.

You might also want to clarify the question once it makes sense, by stating do you mean knowledge that there is no God, or just knowledge in general?

Funny how the religious nuts get pissy when the more scientifically minded try to give straightforward answers, (remember, someone did ask the frigging question, after all)but a person who decides to espouse his/her religion won't be challenged. I didn't use to think religion made people quarrelsome and divisive, but the behavior of the so-called "faithful" I see on Hubpages is beginning to change my opinion. And this is coming from a Catholic of all people.

I realize this answer will probably be hidden, but folks, be decent enough human beings to do one thing:  If you're going to answer the question, answer the question.  Don't attack the spelling and grammar - And, if you DO, don't misspell the word grammer.  Thank you.

Knowledge comes from experience and study.  It is not necessary for one to be a believer to obtain knowledge.  Wisdom is another issue altogether.

Science is knowledge. It relies on fact, rather than circular logic. That's where I get my information.
