The most interesting thought I've found on Nostradamus is that he had insight into the future, but misinterpreted it. For example, he saw the end of civilization. But, for him, the Catholic Church was the essence of civilization. So that what he foresaw was the end of the global power of the Catholic Church, and he thought it was the end of the world.
I believe that foresight into the future is possible. But we don't usually get it right. And it isn't that important anyway. Insight into ourselves here and now matters a lot more. Check out my hub on insight & foresight for more.
