If you believe that the Bible is the Word of God, then you believe in the rapture. I believe the Bible is the Word of the Living God and yes He is coming again.
Enoch, Moses, Elijah and Yoshua called Jesus were raptured according to the meaning of the word. Enoch, in Genesis 5:24, tells us he was taken which is the meaning of rapture.
I Thessalonians 4:13-18 "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them who are ASLEEP, that ye sorrow not, even as others who have no hope. (v14) For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also who SLEEP IN JESUS will God bring with him. (v15) For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede them who are ASLEEP. (v16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the DEAD IN CHRIST shall rise first; (v17) Then WE WHO ARE ALIVE AND REMAIN SHALL BE CAUGHT UP TOGETHER WITH THEM IN THE CLOUDS, TO MEET THE LORD IN THE AIR, AND SO SHALL WE EVER BE WITH THE LORD. (v18) Wherefore, comfort one another with these words."
If Scripture says so, then so it is for IT IS WRITTEN!
Every generation has had it's share of doomsday predictions that didn't come to pass. The world will eventually end, but we've lost all credibility for predicting it.
If people were able to give meaning to the prophecies by comparing what is written to what is happening on earth and known history we would know world's termination is within 15 years and the rapture begins (Mat 20:1-16) after the 1st millennium.
Vague prophecies can fit any time or event. Like I said, people have been seeing the 'beginning of the end' for as long as there has been religion. So far no one has been right.
MT: Have u ever considered those who have died & Scripture was fulfilled prior to death? Wars & rumors of wars, blood moons, deceitful spirits, etc? (Matt 24:34-36) Many generations have passed away & have seen these things fulfilled!
NW, All have or will die reincarnate except 5 foolish virgins in christ who died during the previous civilization's end (Rev 6:9-11), those foolish virgins in Christ during this civilization's end (Rev 14:13) replaces them, all others reincarnates.
Eli: U missed the point. I was asking "If Scripture has been fulfilled prior to EA indiv's death," for EA is on a "personal" journey w/God! My mother who is deceased saw things mentioned in Script prior to her death as did prev gens, as we do today!
I an also missing your meaning here. I don't understand those abbreviations you used.
Eli: EA=each;indv=individual; Script=Scripture;prev=previous; & gens=generations. This is a "personal" journey with the Lord & those deceased have seen Scripture fulfilled!
That is why every life-force continues to reincarnate until raptured, they'll have seen this and Rev 21's civilization come and go many times until they understand the purpose for them & see their fulfillment from all angles for explaining them.
Eli: So u do agree that Scripture is fulfilled in every life prior to death?
No, the scriptures are not fulfilled in anyone's life except those chosen to fulfill them, however, everyone fulfills their destiny for that particular life prior to their discarnating.

Why is it that Christians believe that Buddhists, Hindus, Pagans, Native Americans, etc. are all wrong in their beliefs and that they'll all go somewhere horrible when they die? Why can't we just accept that other people have different lives and different experiences, and let them believe how they...

Calling all Atheists, Christians, and everyone in between. Will everybody go to Heaven? In a world of extreme religious inclusiveness, do you believe in an exclusive God and His Heaven? Why?

My personal opinion is that, YES, most Christians believe in God out of fear. And that starts when they are children. When a child is taken to church and told that he/she will burn eternally in the fiery pits of hell unless they follow the rules of the Bible and God's word, that...

Do You Believe in The Rapture, and Why?There is a popular myth in Protestant religions that there is a rapture by Jesus before the tribulation. I believe this to be wrong. Jesus only comes once more. That is well documented in the Bible. I believe this other Jesus is Satan. This is also documented....

...when Jesus clearly said 'My Father is Greater than I' in John 14:28?Nothing can be greater than God, so by Jesus' own words, we can deduce that Jesus did not profess to be God, because he professes that there is a power Greater than him (Jesus). Why then do many Christians firmly believe that...
