What did Jesus the Christ [anointed One], mean by what He said at Matthew 6:10?

    Matthew 6:10 (King James Version)

10Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

    John 18:37 (King James Version)

37Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

This is part of a prayer called "The Lord's Prayer."  The line; "Thy will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven." The people pledge to obey whatever is asked of them by God while on earth,  in the same manner as Heaven's angel do, simply it means to obey God's laws.

Matthew 6:9   After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Matthew 6:10   Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

vs 9 is so we recognize the power we speak to and his worthiness of reverence.
vs 10 is so we recognize he is coming back, his will be done in both heaven and earth.

These verses beat down our egos. They are designed to humble us.
When we truly acknowledge that God is in heaven, his name is hallowed, his kingdom, his will and that he controls both places, heaven and earth, we have no room for pride or other such desires of our flesh and our vain imaginations must submit to the power that is so so much more than we are.
Of course we do not quote these words when we pray, we put them into our own words which is much more humbling.

To answer this question we must ask another question:
    What is heaven like?
Heaven is a place of pure love. In heaven there is no lack. In heaven there is no sickness. Worshiping God is as natural as breathing.
This is what Jesus asked to pray for. We see glimpses of this in His ministry. He demonstrated pure love. Why? Because that is what heaven is like.
He healed the sick. Why? Because that is the manifestation of heaven on earth.
Jesus was conducive to an atmosphere of constant worship. Why? Because that is what it is like in heaven.
Jesus was the personification of the Father - a vessel through which heaven was manifested on the earth. Thus, "His will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven"

I think Prophetic Insight, has said it perfectly. As it is in heaven, so it will be on earth. That is why Jesus came to earth, to show us through his own handy-works what God is capable of accomplishing, and whats more: the wonders that await for us God-loving humans in the future. No more sickness, no more suffering, no more death. Just like it is in Heaven. Amen.

Jesus taught us to pray 'Thy kingdom come' so that we might anticipate His kingdom , and 'Thy will be done' so that we might be obedient to God's will, while on this earth.
When Jesus spoke to Pilate of His kingdom He simply confirmed it, saying that He bore witness to the truth -'Jesus is the KIng' .
