    Actually no.

    Sorry to burst anyone's bubble, but Christmas is actually a pagan ceremony celebrating winter, but the big-wigs in the RC church way back when, changed the meaning in order to fit with their religious beliefs in the hopes to garner followers.

    That's why history tells us that JC was born sometime around April or May, when Christians the world over are under the impression that he was born on Christmas Day.

    So no. Christmas is not from God, but is a way of reusing an existing holy time in order to celebrate something Christian.

    Christmas is not from God at least not the Christian one anyway.  Nor does it have much to do with Santa Clause a character I believe was invented for a  Coke a Cola advert a few years back.

    December 25th is a Pagan festival celebrating the Winter Solstice and the rebirth of the SUN GOD who will gradually get stronger which will bring Spring and then Summer 

    Not you notice the son of God.  As with many other Pagan festivals the early Christians hijacked our holy days.  You go to church on a  SUN day... 

    How about Easter.... Pagan festival of Spring celebrating  Ester Goddess of fertility , hence the Eggs and  fluffy bunny rabbits.... symbols of fertility.     No rolling away of stones from tombs... and guess what nobody gets crucified either.

    Why then do people get offended and rude when you ask about Christmas, they say it is the most holy day of the Christian faith!

    Nan, it is not from God.

    Once upon a time it was a religious holiday celebrating Jesus, but now it is so much more then just that
