Look like anyone you know?
You have some strange looking cousins.
I love the following line of the report;
" A long human-looking nose completes the anthropomorphic sense that we are looking at a close relative. Monkeys are not as closely related to humans as chimpanzees or gorillas are but still, we swung together once, a long time ago, assessing the next leap with those keen eyes."
I award it the coveted tripple laughy award.
Nah, double that,
Was pretty sure you wouldn't understand how this proven science could be true in the face of the majik book. This is - after all what made you start to believe in majik - yes?
Yep, you are correct.
I believe in majik.
Every bit as much as you do!

Sure ya do dj. No evidence for evolution at all.
Got to admit yours is the funniest reason for believing what you believe. Evolution just didn't make ans sense to you so you started believing in jesus instead.
Yes - you had posted it before.
It is garbage. We have proven Macro evolution and there are no "strict limits."
Try quoting a biologist - not a philosopher.
Evolution is a philosophy.
And you are a believer.
Sorry you don't understand. It must be very frustrating for you. Weird you reject almost all science - yet use a computer.
Your reason for believing - "I tried to swallow the evolution thing, but it only created more questions, with even fewer answers," is one of the funniest I have ever heard though. Most people don't go to the trouble of explaining that they just don't understand science so they choose religion instead. At least you are honest.
My computer did not evolve from a pile of sand I brought home from the beach. Though, it's made of silicon. It was CREATED by intelligent minds who had a plan and a purpose in mind before they did it.
Yes, I am honest, whilst you are not.
You believe in fairy tales, and try to call it science.
I thought you learned in kindergarten, that square pegs just don't fit into round holes.
This video just about sums up your fantastic problem perfectly.

Sorry aka - this would be why your religion causes so many fights. That youtube video is utter nonsense.
Not sure why you think I am dishonest. Evolution is proven scientific fact. How is that being dishonest?
I am always amazed when I come across people who don't think evolution is possible. The evidence is overwhelming. You can look at how peoples change when they are separated. One example would be skin colour.
One could also look at how and why the flu evolves into something different every year.
Then, biology is also a philosophy, based on your logic.
So, you're compelled to fabricate that story because you don't know anything about evolution and must resort to those kind of tactics in order to defend your faith?
Yes, actually. He looks like humanity, or at least what it could be. The article you posted along with the image was both provoking and revealing. So, there are yet amazing discoveries to be made.
Thanks. I feel joyful about this, not antagonistic.
Me too. It is hard to look at him and not see the that this is a distant cousin. Awesome.
Inspiring discovery for the tethering Mokele- Mbembe True Believers Club! Cute fella too..
I must say, he reminds me of a Pixar-illustrated character

In June 2012, Gallup's latest findings showed that 46% of Americans believed in creationism, 32% believed in evolution guided by God, and 15% believed in atheistic evolution.http://religion.blogs.cnn.com/2013/10/0 … board-war/This seems astonishing to me. Almost 50% of Americans think the...

Someone once said that if one does not believe in the existence of God, then one ends up believing anything and everything. This emanates from the perception that atheism's interpretation of existence is primarily nihilistic, devoid of purpose and meaning. For what is purpose and meaning but an...

Recently I wrote a hub on faith and imagination. Since I was interested in hearing others opinions on how we should use faith in our imagination I started a thread on this forum. Unfortunately it was high-jacked and the topic at hand was not able to be discussed. So this is basically my second...

I believe that so many children would grow up smarter and having a better intillecual veiw on the world if society didn't shove religion down their throtes. There are many good religious people who are smart, but if someone doesn't want to believe then it should be their choice. This whole...

Why is the existence/non-existence of a higher power dependent on the validity of any particular religion? Are we as humans really so arrogant, that we think if none of our gods are real, that must mean there is no such thing as a higher power at all anywhere in the universe? Isn't it possible that...
