   The full phrase is VITRIOLVM -- Visita Interiora Terrae Rectificando Invenies Occultum Lapidem Veram Medicinam -- Visit the interior of the earth and by rectifying you will find the hidden stone which is the true medicine.  It's a Rosicrucian thing.  All I know about them is that they're fascinated by certain numbers they believe to have cosmic significance.  I guess in answer to your question, it doesn't mean anything to me since I'm not a Rosicrucian.

         Calculus, grand idea indeed.  Instead of puppies, you can start the thread on the wonders of advanced calculus and other areas of mathematical analysis-others can continue the discussion. Please take this thread to a MORE CONCLUSIVELY LOGICAL level, Cal. This is WHAT is needed in these religious forums.
