For me it just is weird. A guy/gal is spouting off bible concepts but goes by an alias/avatar fake name. How can that be right? Obviously privacy is a fair gambit --- but not if you are going to tell someone what to think and or feel or believe.
It just reeks of white hooded KKK folks. Hello my name is Eric Dierker and I live at 908 Parkbrook St in Spring Valley and my phone number is 858-736 4432. And I want to talk to you about love.
What up?!! If I am preaching on line. You need to know that I own what I say. An anonymous preacher is the devil. I do not get to say such horrible and blanket statements often. But this one is so real. It is so wrong for someone to preach Gospel behind a vale that I just cannot sit back and accept it.
If you read someones claimed Christian writing and they do not say clearly who they are ---- run away. Run away. I am equipped to deal with evil, it is a gift I have. But most folk should not endeavor into such matters. If someone is writing here about God and does not make clear who they are, run away.
Eric, In my personal opinion, I believe those who are not ashamed of believing in the Bible, God, or the resurrection of Jesus Christ, can say so right up front, without hiding behind an alias. Although my user name is "Sparklea" - LEA is my first name, and since my last name is a long Armenian name by marriage - "Tartanian" I find it simpler to go by "Sparklea." That being said, I will say before God and the whole universe, if it's in the Bible, it's true...and the TRUTH reigns. Blessings, Sparklea
Sparklea we know who you are --- And would not change that pen name in a second. You are Sparkles and brightness in our world. I just smile when I see something from you. If people do not know you go quick to: http://sparklea.hubpages.com/ Just look at that smile --- yahoo!
ummm, Eric,
You appear to be sounding a tad bit ego centric again, It's been a while since I've seen this from you. Are you okay? Breath in.... breath out...
Aah! whaa, well that is better. Yes, the matter bothers me. Jimmy Buffet wrote a great song on this. Ok I am over it. Thanks for the head butt.
I believe that some of the apostles didn't go by their real names, does this make what they said any less important?
Surely I don't have to give my name, address and telephone number to offer my opinion. This is a forum for discussion not a soap box for your own personal proclamation.
I like being famous when it's convenient for me and completely anonymous when it's not.
Catherine Deneuve
I would assume they are using the pen name to brand their hubs. Any effect on the forums being accidental. I write here under a pen name. If this makes me a dodgy and untrustworthy atheist, oh well.
If you do not know this writer --- get off your butt. I would say thrilling. I do not comment much there -- because the : http://psycheskinner.hubpages.com/ says it all.
You do not preach or tell us to believe based on faith. That is a huge difference. "if you believe in what I say because I said it, then I have caused a disservice to mankind" (ed 2013) Christians are not given the luxury of spouting off without accountability -- since the time 11 Apostles were ultimately crucified it is the life blood that we stand as witness. I really do not like this part much. I am kind of a wimp. But that is the way we roll. Maybe it is a sisterhood thing, I do not know. But someone who challenges you in faith --- without revealing who they are..... that is monkey business.
I have no idea why anyone would care what name you use on the internet. I think you might be expecting your opinion to be taken more seriously than is likely to happen. This is the internet. Even if I researched you and had every reason to believe you were who you said you were I wouldn't give your posts any more weight than I would someone who didn't supply their full name and address. Your words stand for themselves.
Even though I write here under a name that is not my own by now people know my real name is Rasma. My faith is really deep and I begin each morning and end each day with prayer. The poems I write to the Lord come from my heart so I don't think that's wrong. On other sites I have been using my real name.

Do you think women should be allowed or are fit to become preachers/ministers?This has been a sore subject in my family.(I think they should). Some people believe that women do not have a place in religion as a minister or preacher. In the Holy Bible, it talks about women being seen and not heard...

Without delving into a lot of deep studying on the origins of words, I'll make a suggestion. Could it be that Jesus was redefining what God is when He called Himself the Son of Man?THink about it: He often referred to God as His Father, right? And then He refers to Himself as the Son of Man....

Is it possible for someone to have faith that God exist, but does not believe the words in the bible is true? If your answer is yes, explain how?

What words would YOU use to describe Oprah Winfrey without using the name?
