When the narrative identity "I" free itself from all the impressions of Mind, body and emotions, and merge itself in the soul, the man attains Moksha or Liberation, in ones life time. Buddha and Mahavira are the fine examples of it.
PLEASE SHARE YOUR VIEWS ON MOKSHA OR LIBERATION?
It is an extremely high state of illumination. A kind of freedom or Liberation as it is generally known. It is not the final realisation of the Self. This is total, conscious, inseparable and last for 24 hrs every day. It is irreversible.
Moksha sits at the top of the tree, sure, or you could say that this Soul has entered the Palace-Mansion from a side door only. The freed Soul is on the top of the tree but afraid to climb down lest he be caught by ignorance. The Realised Soul has free access to the top of the tree and bottom also, and can come and go at His sweet will. He has access to the entire Mansion which has become His.
