'Love' ~ they say ~ is a relationship between two 'electricity' running throughout 2 (or more) nervous systems. Now tell me, honestly, is that what you think love really is?
Add in the chemical reactions caused by that current and you've hit the nail on the head.
True Love has nothing to do with chemistry and everything to do with desire to bestow pleasure to others. this is what God is -- pure bestowal without self-concern.
Self-concern (ego) merely gets in the way. Ego likes to keep track and to take score. Love doesn't.
