What is YOUR definition of sin?  Do you contend that there is still such a thing as sin in our postmodern,21st century civilization, culture, & society?  Or do you maintain that sin is an irrelevant, outmoded concept used by religionists to instill guilt & fear?  How is sin still relevant in our society?

~ sin is ignor-ance. When one knows what is right, good and beneficial for oneself and others, but this inner knowing is literally ignored, (by oneself.)

Beautifully said.  Sin is ignorance.  Ignorance of higher level of consciousness and in the divine within us.  Sin is existing in the lower realms of human consciousness.

Nothing but the Blood of Jesus can take away my sin.

Sin is a good scrabble word when the board gets full because it's small and uses common letters.
