Check this out. LOL
Dear oh dear..............
Since when does a web site that proves evolution to be a myth constitute child abuse.
On the contrary, teaching something that is not proven (evolution) to children in schools should be considered child abuse.
Thanks Mark, more evidence for de-evolution.

Keep laughing Mark, it might help to keep you sane.
Sorry Make Money. I forgot you are a big fan of child abuse, being a catholic.
Proof?
I can really recommend the Oxford English dictionary. But thanks - you are single-handedly helping the cause.
You just lost a member of your fan club, that is simply too much below the belt.
Yes, I am a Christian, no, I don't believe that God created the world in literally 6 days and took than one day of. But I am also sick of atheists that bash Christians whenever they can just for the sake of it. Child abuse? You titled your post ...child abuse..., you make a mockery of every case when a child has suffered under real abuse! Just do me a favour, leave my fan club also, thanks, SY
Well, having been abused as a child myself - feel free to leave my fan club.
ciao.
And if you do not think teaching children this garbage is child abuse - all power to you. Good riddance.
What did your parents teach you about creation or something, was that your child abuse? According to your thread here it must have been.
Mmmm...wouldn't have appealed to me as a child!
On the other hand, I have never been a Canadian child nor been overly interested in paleontology!
may be atheists legalize child abuse as they did with gays and homos
Well this is apparently legal christian child abuse.
I am told by a lady of the faith which one stuffed if I know, Pentecostal, I think she said, that Pentecostal Churches attract gay men, as they have a chance to Hug other men, apparently they Hug alot, and that way relationships form. Gross. Her husband met his lifetime partner that way. LOL
I'm suprised you would find this even slightly amusing, Mark. I know anything that speaks evil of Christianity would crack you up easily, being atheist and all. But geez, they're kids for pete's sake. There's nothing funny about it, christian or not. Its sad and pathetic.
You are right - it is sad and pathetic. It is also child abuse and should be stopped.
I know you are probably not bright enough to see that that was the message I was trying to get across. Although - I laugh at everything - it is the only way to keep sane.
Don't you think it is funny that people will go to these lengths to spread their religion - even to the point of damaging children by feeding them this as facts. Ironic even? Spread the word no matter the cost?
No Mark, I dont find it the least bit funny, ironic or anything of that sort. Just sad and pathetic, is all. I know I'm not bright enough, but at least I know it is just plain wrong to find such an evil act even the least bit funny, whether you're doing it to keep sane or anything. It's just wrong.
LOL
You are, of course, missing the point. The act is not in the slightest bit funny. Do I have to spell it out that I think this is C-h-i-l-d a-b-u-s-e? The creationists are funny though.
And I do not care one whit that you think my laughter is wrong.
Well the act of child abuse is sadly not new
So called men of god from Britain were doing that 200 years in the colonies...Hmmm...
Thanks - I know what child abuse is. And this clearly falls under psychological abuse. And if you want some catholic abuses to look over - the Irish report is nearly ready after ten years:
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/commen … 325012.ece
There is a report due out today on child abuse in Irish schools and churches over the past 60 years. Unfortunately this topic is neither funny nor worthy of some petty abuse of either atheists, or christians.
Child abuse ruins lives - it is perpetrated by people in authority over others, some of whom are christian, some of whom are atheists.

Many traditional and fundamentalist religious parents raise their children to what is tantamount to abuse. Such children are brainwashed into thinking that the only legitimate and acceptable construct is the religious culture. They are shielded from what is considered to be secular and progressive...

Some people like to comfort themselves with the idea that if they get rid rid of horrible-old Christianity from the world, we will be left with nice, peaceful nihilism. I would like to point out that if you trample away Christianity, we won't be left with the unity of blissful non-belief, we will...

Sometimes I think radical Islam and radical Christianity have more in common with each other than they do with any of the more moderate or secular belief systems. All this burning in hell for all eternity and everything. It's evil, isn't it? Not to put too fine a point on it, what's the...

What are the most annoying responses Christians give to questions atheists ask?I'm a christian and I think that it would be helpful in ministry, if Christians new a bit more about how atheists felt about a Christian's rebuttal
by Peeples 11 years ago
Or that we are somehow bad people because we don't believe in what you believe in? I see so many times when people make it out to be that Christians dislike everything about us atheist yet I am married to a Christian and he has no ill feelings toward atheist. Is the thought that Christians dislike...

.......in terms of behaviours and activities?I've just read a hub by someone talking about the old Chestnut that not all who call themselves Christian are going to heaven citing Jesus "Not all who cry Lord will enter the Kingdom......." I suppose this is connected to Emile's OP asking why...
