i think death is just the end of the beginning. I am not sure how you feel on the topic of christianity but Jesus told many parables about this life not being all we have to live for. who explains exaclty how heaven is going to look like and how we are going to be at one with God himself. some people believe that God, in heaven, is going to be like the president here on earth. hard to reach and only able to see on tv but it is not like that at all. if we have a close personal relationship with him now we will always have a close relationship with him then. i hope that answers your question

Death is death and the dead know nothing and they will continue to know nothing until either the first resurrection or the second resurrection.

Either way all of mankind will be resurrected to a new life - a Spiritual resurrection for the sheep and the goats in the first resurrection and a physical resurrection for the rest of humanity in the second resurrection.

To Answer that question ; Mary Queen of Scots 1542 to 1587 saild this, " InMy End is my beginning" and she knew that if you were a Christian there is no death but eternal life. I think anyone that is Christian knows that their is eternal life if we are saved and we repent of our sins.

Hate to break it to you but death is the end of the end. If you spend your life expecting the afterlife then it's a life wasted. How can one truly appreciate the grandeur and utter beauty of life when they believe that the real fun starts after they die?
