   At present time this is an impossible question to answer.  If you are Christian and believe that what is written in the Bible is literally what happened, then the answer is yes.  If you are an empiricist, then you will probably want to see definitive forensic evidence.  The long and short of it is that it's a matter of personal belief.

   Oh yes He definitely survived and then went to find the disciples for a game of five-a-side soccer. Peter was the ref and John and Joseph of Aremathea were the linesmen.
   
   Pontius Pilate and the Jews didn't watch the game!
   
   Where do these people find their questions; on second thoughts, don't even go there!!!!!

   Jesus did not die a cursed death on Cross; he survived and went to India and the neighbring countries to spread his message to the lost ten tribes of the house of Israel who resided there.

   I have read and studied this a great deal and am now convinced that Jesus DID NOT DIE on the cross. 1st, anyone who takes the scriptures at face value as fact needs their head examined. They are written in code. One book I read written by a Theologian who had studied the Bible and the Dead Sea Scrolls claims that the two other men crucified with Jesus were not "thieves" but Zealots (as one of the Gospels states) and were actually Simon Magus and Judas himself. Judas, Simon and Theudas(Barrabas) were wanted by Rome as Zealots. Judas tried to bribe Pilate by offering up Simon, Theudas and Jesus but a Jewish priest offered a larger bribe for Theudas (he was trying to save Simon as well.) Jesus was on the cross for only hrs while it took days to die. He was given something on a sponge either snake poison or something else that rendered him unconscious. When he was stabbed to test for death he bled which meant that he was certainly still alive but Pilate, believing he was dead (though amazed he had died so quickly) allowed him to be taken down and into the tomb. Where he was administered as the Scriptures say aloe and myrrh; healing herbs, NOT EMBALMING. According to theologian, the other two had their legs broken and were taken down and sentenced to be buried alive. Pilate handed them over to Jewish law believing the tomb was sealed and would be guarded for at least 3 days where they would die. She says that Simon Magus treated Jesus and that all 3 survived the partial crucifixion though Judas being the original one to betray them was cast out a window and killed. Whether or not it was Simon and Judas on the cross with Jesus or not is debatable as is the idea all three survived but if you look at the events; the extremely short time Jesus was on the cross, the sponge put to his lips rendering him unconscious, his wound bleeding, the large quantity of healing herbs brought into the tomb, the whole concept of "the resurrection", it all adds up to Jesus having survived. Add in stories and even a grave in Kasmir claimed to be that of "the messiah" and I have to believe Jesus made it through that one...
