If God is omnipotent and performs miracles, why does he cure cancer, (among many other sicknesses),
(continued) yet neglect to heal amputees, or cure any case of AIDS?
I think the fact that he doesn't heal amputees means that he either:
- doesn't cure cancer or any other sicknesses (therefore their cures are based on natural causes)
- doesn't exist
- doesn't like amputees

That's the typical Sam Harris argument. How does suffering negate God's existence? Maybe He's just watching. It doesn't mean He doesn't exist and for anyone to bring up suffering as proof of no God is indication of a logical fallacy.
