   Read a lot, especially if you are a solitary practitioner.  If you can find some community near you, it can be nice to have support and to be able to speak to live humans about your craft.

   Firstly, everything starts from inside. Inside your heart-well is a volume of spiritual liquid that could destroy the world. Good use of course would create A world. Start by meditations at the dark of time and make this liquid spin so fast that they boil to steam. Mind you one thought at a time. You can't yet handle more than one item.

   Like Relache says, take your time, don't try to run before you can walk and read. I found the late Doreen Valiente's (sadly she passed away in 1999) books very illuminating. Maybe her words can be as useful for you too.
   
   Don't try and get ahead of yourself and know that power attracts, but not always the people you want to attract.
   
   "Eight words..." remember and you can't go far wrong.

   thank you all  of you for helping me and for those who say its bad thats your opinion not mine and i have all ways wanted to be one from the age of 7 so you cant change me, not now not never and thanks again for all these helpful info and books and gloria jean jones im not a Christian im in the religion wiccan.

   As relache said, read a lot! Study your basics and abide by them.
   
   To all those who posted about Wicca/Paganism being of "satan"... Satan is a creation of judeo-christianism. We, as Pagans and Wiccans, do not believe in heaven or hell. That's your job and your book! Please stop trying to save those who have chosen a path other than yours. I am in the US and this country was founded by people escaping religious suppression. Freedom OF religion is also freedom FROM religion. Keep your beliefs to yourself. You sought out to post this crap on an OBVIOIUS question thread about Paganism and Wicca. There are plenty of places out there with people who feel as you do. Go there and mingle with your own!

   Set aside superstitions (old and new), and beliefs based on poor information or on the dogma of other religions. 
   
   Read widely and thoroughly research the many varied forms of witchcraft and paganism.  Wicca is only one form of witchcraft; there are many others, and there are forms of paganism other than witchcraft.
