That is a possibility... but that's all we can say about it really...
Well, if we abandon rationality for a moment and accept the existence of heaven, why should it contain more females than men; there are as many evil men as there are evil females, so it should balance out.
It really needs to be the case because women in general display more love and compassion and much less proclivity toward violence than men do.Read one of the most important teachings of Jesus and decide for yourself if men or women are more likely to follow it:
Matthew 5:44 (New King James Version)
44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.
No war or violence there !
A few weeks ago I found an interesting article documenting the fact that women are even significantly more generous than men. It's a long article so I'll just re-print the headline conclusion:
Study: Women give more to charity than men
By DONNA GORDON BLANKINSHIP
Associated Press Writer
SEATTLE (AP) -- Women across nearly every income level gave significantly more to charity than men, nearly twice as much in some cases, according to a study by the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University.
Hi Micks, Simeonvisser, DrDeanCrosby and Anne's Articles. thanks for your enlightening responses. My curiosity arose from the fact that the bible talks of heaven and hell, while we on earth, too wonderful to be a nice accident, look forward to getting to heaven, after being preceded by our apostles. The number of women in churches as compared to men, opens more avenues through which God's providence is likely to minister to them. As men, we more often indulge in risky behaviour that may very likely exacerbates our otherwise high mortality rate, leading us to early deaths, hence denying us time to repent, plus God's providence. Women are more likely to submit to scriptural codes than men. This gift of submission prepares them for a life in the man's homestead, something men will not bow to, as we continue to uphold our tough stand. Ultimately, bowing to our creator inherently becomes difficult in the long run. Statistics show that Churches usually contain a pastor, many women and very few men. On the other hand, a woman's life is full of ups and downs that lead them to rely more on God.
There are no female in heaven.
Since the male is the symbol of perfection, it is made up of such.
A female must become male to enter the kingdom of god.
This has nothing to do with genitals

Is it possible that our earth is actually hell?I have difficulty believing that there is a reason for our world being in the shape that it is in other than we are being tested. What if being banished to hell is not for an eternity, but for what we perceive a our lifetime, a place where we...

Most conservative Christians will tell you that there can be no sin in heaven. Jesus died for our sins, and the only way those sins can be forgiven is if we accept this "free gift" offered. Otherwise, we burn in hell. However, there are two problems with this view. ...
