      anti not only necessarily means opposed, but also means copies, I suppose, or a counter Christ.
      And so yes, considering the types of Christs being preached and bandied from the pulpits, there are anti Christs right now.
      
      A Christ who has no sovereignty, for example.
      Described often as "wanting to save, wanting to have a relationship, pleading with the sinner".
      
      Ain't the Christ of the Bible.
      An antiChrist, definitely.
      
      A Christ who went to the cross and never really saved or redeemed anyone yet is called a Savior and Redeemer.  You hear about him in many churches at the close of the service, "while the choir sings 'Jesus I Come' and with every eye closed and every head bowed........", well, you know the drill.
      
      The Christ of the Bible was a Christ with a very definite reason for being here:  He is to be called Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.  And He did, too.
      
      He is Sovereign because He is God in the flesh, and back in the Old Testament, no less than a pagan king named Nebuchadnezzar found this out and he cried "he does what he will in the army of heaven and of earth".

   I placed an order at a food counter once that totalled $6.66.  The cashier was terrified and asked if I would like to add a few cents to the total to avoid catastophe.  I declined, and added that if he was that freaked-out he could subsidize my meal.  He pulled a nickel out of his pocket and changed my total to $6.61.

    The anti-christ is simply a potential within us all to revolt. Is that good? Bad? Depends on what one is revolting against, and what context.

All of us are entitled to our own thoughts. I believe he is already here and all of us have the mark including many of us Christians, it comes in the form of credit cards, Social Security Numbers, fingerprinting, handprints so some employees can gain access to buildings etc. is the Anti-Christ (the man) here I believe so. Is Armageddon going to come? It is written that nobody will know, what time, what day, what hour so I am certainly not going to stress myself out over it. Hopefully I will be right with God,will I actually be here to see it? Probably not.
