How do you become the embodiment of a virtue?

That is, how do you *become* a living example of a virtue? E.g....patience, integrity, gratitude.

    "you" don't....your acts do.

Not as obvious as it may sound...but I figure what the heck, I seem to be the first to submit an 'answer'.

Get your face plastered on the front of "sixteen."  Then you lose your shirt just as soon as you grow up and front for cosmo.

@ Clark: How would you ensure your acts embody the virtue?

What about thoughts? Can they be considered 'acts'?

    Wear clean underwear?

My experience is that people who try too hard to be virtuous in appearance are hiding something sinister.

You will have to sacrifice a lot of your personal interest for the sake of others to gain the above virtues.

By first knowing what is virtue and then by knowing that the path to virtue is not the easiest one, and still making up your mind to follow it.
