It was their disobedience that kept them so long in the wilderness. It took God one day to get the Israelites out of Egypt and it took 40 years to get Egypt out of the Israelites.
Didn't they forget the salt and somebody had to go back and get it ?

The Israelites lived in slavery, during and before the time of Moses? What was their fault, for such suffering? or does this god find it necessary that the humans suffer, to impress?
