My limited understanding of the subject is that Astral Projecting (or astral travel) is an out-of-body experience achieved while awake, in a lucid dream, or deep meditation. Basically, the New Agers believe that the spirit or astral body leaves the physical body and traverses to another dimension (astral plane). It is said that Projectors may have access to visions of the past and future. However, it is also said that time and space do not exist on this higher plane. I suppose technically, getting a vision of the future could be a form of mental time travel. It certainly sounds easier than creating an Einstein-Rosen Bridge.
