Everything is an illusion or perception or opinion.
Why Not Write a Hub on this? It would get rid of your Duck eggs
There must be a truth, but you'll never will be able to "grasp" it's meaning.
That must be why people can't stop talking about "faith".
My truth is I don't like to commit myself about heaven and hell. I have friends in both places.
There IS not TRUTH, ok?
Is THAT the truth? Or is that just a lie?
Jesus said HE is the truth.
One of you is LYING.
I have my odds on favorite.
There's your truth, my truth and then THE truth.
Yes, for us (humans) it is only perception etc.
Anyway, just my views
As a friend of mine is fond of saying. "It's your myth, you live it!"
Each of us know the Truth. We know right from wrong, even as children. Which truth are we discussing? Verbal truth, ideological truth, scientific truth, spiritual truth. We learn some as we age, if we are honest with ourselves, others will be forever hidden I fear.
If you tell no lies, that is your truth as you perceive it to be, likely not as some others will. If you tell the truth to a man that can't be trusted, because he believes no one tells the truth...he can see no truth. If you tell an honest man the truth and he perceives you to be an honest man...he sees the truth.
Honesty is the best policy though few seem to practice it today! It is very easy to catch someone in a lie, do it once and you are never trusted again!
i believe there is definate truth..... i have to believe it, or if i don't i become completely dis oriented. Surely if there is no truth at all there is no basis for anything.....
I do agree that if there is such a thing as truth, it evades us human beings. I actually wrote a hub about that, perhaps you would be interested?

Is it better to lie than to hurt someone's feelings for being honest?

Why do people disguise who they reaaly are, why do people lie, is it possible to be 100% honest?Lying does it exist because of that fear of rejection takes over our very being, is it because we do not trust anyone truly. In life would things be turned upside down if you would simply never make...

To believers and unbelievers alike - what makes you respect someone whose religious beliefs are entirely different from yours - to the point that you find them silly or nonsensical? Beyond respect even, what makes you willing to befriend that person?

When is it OK to lie?Just curious to find out if anyone has exceptions for when being lied to is ok? To get out of trouble? To escape certain things? Thoughts please!
