Do you think life is like season? If winters come, can spring be far behind.
Well life to me is sorta like a storm pattern which sometimes is predictable by weather forecasters, but many times becomes violently unpredictable at moments notice. A storm has energy just like your life does, and can build up more from the atmosphere over a duration of time, once this energy decides to spontaneously direct itself at any & all projected paths leading to landfall, there's no telling where it will hit, and how severe the impact will make.
One things for sure though, when the energy from this storm surges, it is going to over take, whatever is in it's way. Similar to Hurricane Irene, we just had in August that ram sacked the East coast of the US. There will also be a calm before & after the storm that has an illusive appearance that everything is quite OK.
That's how life is to me in it's harsh reality at times, & the Irony here is that we have absolutely no way to control any of it, let alone attempt to ride out an abominable storm moving rapidly, or it making a very quiet & peaceful entry. That must be the reason of the phrase " When the going gets tough, the tough must get tougher". In terms of life being like a powerful storm instead of a changing season, I would like to change the previous well known phrase to this.
"When the going gets tough, the tough need to get going." LOL
Yes Life is like a season. Every season either it is winter or summer or autumn come in life an we have to manage our selves.
I think life can be like that very often. If you are having a winter - or not so good times - then these will pass and you move onto a more settled time in life. This can come a bit quicker if we try not to be too negative, but try to stay as positive as we can and move with the flow until better times come.
Definitely. Life is a cycle.
Winter..spring..summer..fall. You have to move and dance your way through it.
I do agree with you anupma. Life is like season. Sometime we have to face tough time in our life and sometime we have to deal with good time too. Nothing is permanent in life. As change is the law of nature same condition apply with life too. So being a human being we have to face each and everything with lots of courage and patience. Because once tough time pass away there will comes good time too. Just like seasons changes in the same way life also changes.
yes i think it can be like a season ... spring will come but sometimes winter nights make winter feel a lot longer than they really are.
Yes, but for me the term life is confusing, (long story there). But, I think it is continuous and not related to the calendar where here in the states winter comes last in the year or the beginning of newness. Oh, theseus, I immediately thought of both James Taylor and Carole King reading your reply - 'You've Got a Friend' (1971 release).
the lakota have what they call a medicine wheel...one of its symbolisms is for the seasons of life...but not perhaps in the way you think of it...spring is for birth, summer for youth, fall for adult and winter for old age and eventually death.
yes, life is like a season. if you are experiencing tough days in your life, be patient for this time to pass. In Bhagvad Geeta ( Hindu Religious Text) it is said - labha labho, jaya-jayo, sukhe -dukhe same kritva..meaning one who stays calm n poised in all times is a true winner in life. so keep patience n don't let ur good times rule ur head n tough times let you down.
