One who is very near will always be missed. That is the case with God, He is the most nearest and dearest to every individual. The agony is that we miss his presence in our inner self. He never announces his identity though he is closer to you. Only in deep silence and meditation, we can have a glimpse of his love and grace. You can converse with him every moment since he never moves away from you. This is the highest Truth whether one believes or not.
There is a commonly held belief that we all possess a small spark of the Divine Creator within each of us... our "soul". Its placement wasn't random and reflects one of the roles every human being plays. Part of our purpose is to experience a unique reality and viewpoint for the Creator, allowing essentially the Creator to live through us. Many also regard the process involved in bringing artistic expression to life involves this same soul, where the Creator makes Its presence felt or shown through the new creation.
My answer is that "God" is all of us, each unique expressions of the same unfathomable and unknowable Primal Creator. Affixing human characteristics, such as being of the male gender, is a purely human invention, just like the countless wars waged across the ages because one group wished to enforce their view of "God" on others, and seldom has there not been enormous terror, misery and death attached to these conversion campaigns. The Divine creator, to me, embodies the highest of all energies... that of unconditional love.
To me, God is infinite love and abundance in creation.
We feel a bit of God when we are inspired, when we truly forgive and when we listen to the quiet, still voice within.
God is everything to me. I like to keep a more realistic interoperation of Jesus instead of your stereotypical skinny, blond-haired, blue-eyed, white Jesus. He was a carpenter so he had to have been massively ripped, he was middle eastern, and no matter how much people don't like the fact...he probably looked a lot more like Bin Laden than Fabio. I guess the closest physical interpretation I can muster is Sayid from the series LOST.

Do dreams really mean anything? Having repetitive dreams mean anything? Is there any real evidence that dreaming happens for a reason? I have repetitive dreams about someone I haven't seen in 15 years (when I was a teen), have no feelings for, never did, yet I dream about the person at least 3 times...

If we can look outside of ourselves we should have a great conversation. My thoughts don't mean anything, and your thoughts don't mean anything, there is two powers in this world your and mines, is there any power greater than these, I put my faith in God, your put your faith in yourself, now...

Does ringing in the ear mean anything (spiritually)?I get the deafening tone and high pitched ringing every now and then. Probably 10 times a year. Today it happened once... Then a few minutes later happened again. I never had it happen back to back. I am not talking about tinnitus, I am talking...

Does God listen to our prayers when our pets are sick or injured?I have always wondered if God takes the time to listen to our prayers for a pet. I like to think He does.
