   Does karma come back to you in this life, or your next life?
   
   If you believe in karma & rebirth, does karma come back to you only in this life, or can it also affect your next life?

   Karma can affect you both in your present life and in the next. In your present life you may well be working through karma that you have gathered from a previous life. And because we are not perfect we will accrue karma in this life, to be carried onto the next.

   It depends on the situations. Some karmas bear fruit during this life itself. Some are kept in abeyance till we take another birth! But one thing that is certain in everybody's life is none can escape from the effects of karmas. It is neither balanced by good deeds. For every single act of good and bad, you have to enjoy or suffer separately. This is the invisible tie!

   Your karma is responsible for the good and bad things in your life. I've heard that people who do bad deeds would suffer in this life itself. But in reality, I've seen many such people leading a happier life. This fact makes me believe that in their next life, they may pay for whatever bad karma they've done in this life.
   
   An honest and straightforward man with great faith in god would escape from this cycle of rebirth and get "moksha" or liberation from this worldly life.

   Any Karma you haven't reaped and have not made right will be there in your next life.
   The lessons will keep coming back time and time again until your lessons are learned
