      The "god of your understanding" is just that, your invented god.
      The term was used to help get more people into AA and was not in it's original doc's.
      Understanding all of God is impossible for a finite mind.

   I don't know about understanding him but if he doesn't mow his lawn I'm calling the POA! It's Harvey Johnson, he lives down the block, he said he was God but I haven't seen him do anything yet.

   The way I see it, I can't really label that which is beyond me. I/we are a part of what is. We can return,but in returning we give up all of this, so we come back or do something else, because when you return to absolute love, you become complacent. Or, in simply separating from that purity we have "stained" ourselves and with every lifetime (hopefully),we are "growing" closer to where we want to be. Either way, the outcome is the same:)

   My Dear Sweet Friends,
   
   Who canst understand LOVE, Its ins and outs, Its ups and downs?  That is Who and What God of all creation is, LOVE.  All creation was created by LOVE, thrive on LOVE, exist according unto LOVE.  No one canst understand LOVE completely, we canst only describe Its many manifestations, which Man is one of. 
   
   We were all created from and of LOVE, and LOVE is our only destination.  It is the Way, the Truth, and the Light that lighteth the Way for all mankind.  Every relationship of mankind is dead without LOVE.  We art all LOVE, the Children of LOVE.  It is left unto us to recognize and understand this.  When we doth then shall all the Earth enter into a place of perfect living, for all life is created and perfected according to, and by LOVE.
   
   This is why all religions teach LOVE as the Way unto heaven.  Even more, the Royal Commandments art to LOVE:
   
   "...Thou shalt LOVE the Lord thy God with all thine heart, soul, strength and mind, and Thou shalt LOVE thy neighbor as thyself."  Then, Jesus said;  I leave you a new commandment, that ye shall LOVE one another as I have LOVED you.
   
   1st John 4:8 ends with,...for God is LOVE. 
   
   This is the knowledge and wisdom of God, LOVE!

   The biblical god is great...... if you don't mind crawling from spittoon to spittoon behind a vengeful, hate filled, sexist psycho mass murdering mythological, nonsensical invisible entity from a 2,000 year old book full of malice and threats!
   Don't be scared the bogyman is only in the fairytale.

     is like asking a molecule in my toe to answer who is Jerami.
   It is possibly aware that there is higher power than itself that its life depends upon.
   
     God is that higher power that my life depends upon.
