The reason why 'those who believe in God' receive so much scepticism from 'those who do not believe in God' is because they cannot answer any of their questions plausibly... or can they?
It's because those who believe in god here are always judging others in there beliefs......
They are not able to connect and many great masters and prophets have been tortured and killed for speaking the truth.
There is no god for sure but I know gods brother.
I think both sides don't know the answer. So everyone should just shut up.
The only one true thing I know is that there is ME! Everything else could be a figment of my imagination, but there is me and that's the one proof I have.
Oh my hear we go! I believe but does it honestly matter if someone does not?
Can we shut the stable door on this one.. before we have those moose things stampeeding across the room?
To Cagsil: Like what i have said: "what if i think therefore youre not"? the question whether God is existent is a futile exercise, its like no ending or beginning, circular, like the windmills of my mind............
Well, yeah.
But, I am who I am.
Would I want to change that? Not now, not ever.
I like who I've now become, because I can logically dismiss my own "religious" belief- which were deeply rooted Catholic.
I spent my entire younger part of life, immersed in religious doctrines, scriptures and things never added up.
Then, when I would talk to a priest, he never had anything meaningful to express. He just pointed me back scriptures.
I guess, that is what's keeping religious/spiritual leaders going, to push people into enlightenment, by drilling into you scriptures.
I asked a priest once- How did the scriptures come to be? He told me that they were found and translated into many different languages, in many different cultures.
My next question vexed him- Well, How do YOU know the scriptures were translated properly?
He had no answer, except to say, "I have faith, my boy."
Right there and then, I knew he knew there was no god. I could see it in his eyes. The FEAR could be seen in face, he lost color.
At that point, I've always questioned whether or not, all scriptures were translated properly. Then, I came across a TV news report- which claim, the Vatican refuses ordinary people to see the scriptures.
Yes, I understand to so-called "Value" of them, but to deny access to the public is unheard of. Not to mention, the many scriptures were hundreds of years and some were even written many decades after Jesus Christ's murdered.
And, yes, I said, "MURDERED!", because that precisely what it was.
So, I began thinking about "debunking" religious texts. To ensure that each piece coincided with what science, philosophy can reveal.
And, it took OVER 20+ years, but I'm done. I can now- out right tell you- there is no GOD in anything in this world.
The only "GOD" that exist is in the power of every individual person and their unlimited potential, humankind are GODS themselves, because science has proven there is no other life-forms in exisence in our known universe.
I am GOD of myself.
I am all powerful- because I have a human consciousness that tells me I am alive. I have a conscience, which morally guides me.
My faith is in myself, in my abilities and in my understanding of Life.
My belief: Humankind is not a "GOD" race. We exist for knowledge, understanding, compassion and purpose of none.
Human exist. Plain and simple. To look where we came from will not help us to get where we are going, as a race. It simply doesn't bode well, if we keep digging up the past.
I have done the research and I'm now telling the World, what I found. You, as a person, shouldn't go against your own existence, when it is necessary for you to do so.
We all have a human consciousness/awareness and a conscience. Every person has the individual ability of free will thought and action. I included action, because you can act freely, do as you please, it's just some actions are moral and some are immoral.
That leads to your conscience, which is your indicator for moral/good and immoral/bad.
Between those two things- we humans have unlimited potential. As we soak up knowledge through science and philosophy, we learn the real power behind an individual human being.
To harness the power of 6.6 BILLION people who be an enormous shift in humankind's history.
Then, that leads to World Peace, which everyone is against happening. Which leads one to wonder why?
Answer: power, wealth and control. Plain and simple.
Instead of everyone working together, because government refuse to get along, we are divided. The same goes of in the U.S. separatists have their toes dug in deep in Congress.
So much so, it's becoming a detriment to society.
That's unacceptable, especially in America.
The citizenry has had enough. It's time for a huge shift in power in America, BACK into the hands of the citizens.
Well, I think I'll stop there. You can tell me how crazy I am, as will a few others. But, hey.
I Think, Therefore I Am!

Why do people that don't believe in God, respond to questions about God?Don't get me wrong. I respect and appreciate every response, even if they disagree. That is everyone's right. But I usually don't waste time and energy in things that I don't believe in. Sure, I don't believe in Santa and still...

God is the Begining and the End, creator of all things, meaning everything! No disrespect meant here, how can some of us question this? Why is it so difficult for some people to see this truth? If you are a non believer in God or Jesus, what are your thoughts on His teachings? Surely the teachings...

I can understand the positives of putting your faith in such and such religion, which is why I do not think religion as a whole should be completely eradicated, however in this day and age I honestly wouldn't mind if it was.My question is this: why does religion NEED to exist? If you say "So...

Can any religionist out there answer the Epicurean Paradox? This goes as follows:-If God is willing but not able, then he is not all powerful. If God is able but not willing, then he is malevolent. If God is both willing and able, then why is there evil in the world? If God is neither willing nor able,...

"Do you beleive in good and evil? In morality? do you love anything or anyone? what is love?" With out God there is no good or evil, it would only be a matter of opinion as to what good and evil would be. With out a moral law giver, there is no moral law

Hypothetical Question: What if it were proven there's only one true God and It wasn't your God?For this question, you must use your imagination. You must pretend the premise of the question is true and then answer it accordingly. The premise is that God has been discovered and it's been proven...
