If God were to speak audibly, what kind of voice should we expect him to use?
Does God speak with a thundering, soft, calm, harsh, scaring voice?
a still small voice. it gets our attention faster than anything, at least those who are listening for it.
God is always speaking; it depends on how attentive we are. I'd like for Him to speak above His usual whisper when I'm being distracted; and in a tone more firm than gentle when I'm being stubborn.
If God spoke to me in audibly voice, I think he would use a voice that is pleasing to my ear and one that may sound familiar....this would, I think, allow me to hear and allow me to not be afraid. Love this question.
