Anyone will do, but reasons why would be good.

My angel on my shoulder is a cancer patient that I once helped. I feel her presence when I do my work.

Doesn't it feel great to do good work?

But, if I were to have an angel looking I would take any single strong female, over and above, any male.

So, I guess I'd be out of luck, considering the stance of the church, with regards to women.

      lol  lol

      p.s.- Hi Shazwellyn...smile

You mean you don't forget that person whom you helped.

Of course; he is not a real angel.

There are so many who I could name, I would choose my father-in-law. He was a Christian man who worked hard every day with the best attitude I've ever seen. He had nothing but nothing was ok as long as he had his faith and his family. He is the reason I don't buy all the republican arguement all it takes is hard work. I don't know how many times I saw his worn shoes and his holely socks and he reped for a large corporation from the Mississippi river to the west coast.(a Christian company by trade) He was on the road always and was the perenial top sales person by miles. He never owned a new car and he was always frugal. When he died it was so wrong his company after years of service din't offer to help with anything. He made alot of people wealthy and died a pauper. His wife now lives a meager existence on social security that all the family suppliment. He never had a cross word for anyone, hes the reason I know God exists and only people are evil.

      Good one!

I'm not sure who I'd choose, but I do know my Dad (deceased 1997) was watching over my wife and me when a wildfire hit our place in 1999.  Not sure he was on my shoulder, but he did appear in our little cabin to reassure Pam and give her advice on what to do while I was out there batting down flames with a shovel (we were surrounded).

THE SAME GOES WITH SPIRITS THERE ARE GOOD SPIRITS AND THEN THERE ARE THE ONES THAT ARE HOLDING BACK PEOPLE  FROM EVEN TRYING TO SEE THE TRUTH, THE REALITY  IS THAT WE ARE GONNA ALL BE SAVED FROM THE ONES WITH THE GHOUL, THIS IS HEAVEN ON EARTH AND WE WON'T BE FLYING BUT NEITHER WILL WE BE UNDER THEIR MANHOOD ANY MORE BUT UNTIL THEN WE ALL MUST TAKE HEED AND REALIZE THAT SALVATION IS NOT FOR A FEW OR FOR SOME BUT  FOR EVERYONE OR WE WON'T EVER BE, THIS IS THE LAST BATTLE THE GOOD VERSUS THE BAD,  WE MUST  START BY DOING THE WORK GOD HAS WRITTEN FOR US ALL TO DO IT IS NOW , WE CAN AND WE MUST FOR THE CHILDREN FOR THEY BELONG TO DIOS(Dius ,   HE IS OUR CREATOR, OUR MAKER, TO HIM WE OWE ALOT WE MIGHT AS WELL PAY HIM BACK FOR OUR GOOD THINGS IN THIS LIFE BY DOING WHAT IS RIGHT AND RIGHTING THE WRONGS IS A START, A BEGINNING TO THE END OF ALL EVIL, THINK AND FEEL FOR YOU, THINK PEACE, DON'T BE SELFISH,  TO THINK IS GODLY, TO DO THIS IS TO BE THE CHILDREN OF DIUS, AGE DON'T MATTER, HEART DOES

I think that anybody has a guardian angel given by God. Therefore, we are already blessed with one angel. At lest one. Sometimes, mostly in times of suffering, illness and grief, each one of us is supported by more angels. Otherwise, we could hardly bear the difficult and unhappy moments. In those times we receive more angels...I feel that. Some of them might be Archangels, maybe. Don't forget Uriel. I also hope that the ones that we loved and left this world also give us their prayers and support... I don't know if they are promoted to the rank of angels, in this case I already know the names of a few angels, but I still feel their love and care. God bless you all, dear readers.

Its a strange feeling that you know in your gut what is right and wrong at any given moment in time.

    Can I share something?

I was touched yesterday.  I transfered a dementia patient yesterday from a psychiatric unit to his new residential home.  He was 87.  When we arrived, we went into the front room.  There were older people in chairs.  On one side there was a little old lady with a crochet blanket over her knees.  Next to her was an empty chair.  The man walked toward her.  He had tears in his eyes.  He had returned to his soul mate, sat in the empty chair (this was his own personal chair from home), looked at her and help her bony, arthritic fingers.

They were together at long last.  It didnt seem to matter that they weren't home... I could see that home, for him, was her!  They were happy.

Of course, I welled up!  Silly ole me!

Maybe the angel's on their shoulders kept them together? x

I would chose the angel that spoke to Bill Gates and Warren
Buffet so I could become a billionaire, like they did!

My mother's mother. I am named for her and I was very close to her when she was alive. She was a very smart and outspoken woman.

She was a very beautiful teenager and the Fascists wanted her to be the Queen of the Mayday parade in her Italian village. Not only did she refuse but she told them what she thought of fascists. When my Italian-born grandfather arrived from America looking for a wife to bring back to America, her family thought she should volunteer and leave the fascists behind.

And odd beginning to a marriage, but it was a good one that lasted over 50 years.

I felt her presence the night I met my husband. It was a slap on the back of my head, and a whisper that I would spend the rest of my life with him.

Not sure I'd want anyone that close, but if I had to have one I guess it would have to be someone easy to get along with. Probably my aunt who died a few years ago. She was an amazingly sweet woman.
