Which of the religions do you think is the true religion? Are the other religions copies?

There are so many religions, why is this?

    Which came first?

Actually, your question is very intriguing, but then, if you are or a member of a religion, you would say that this religion is true. However, there are some ways to find the true religion. First, it is true religion if it established peace and order, not only by words but also in action. Second, true religion has only one GOD. Third, it is true religion when all its adherents have showing love to each other. Fourth, it is true religion if when its adherents are good people, they are not involved in politics, wars, and more evil works. Fifth, it is true religion if they have high moral standards.
Well, these are just very few to tell, but if you broadened and get out to the four-sided corner, you will see the true religion. You will learned what it is. I don't want to tell it to you, I want you to find it. Search.Search.

Good answer Kenneth! You give good points there and although they are ultimately unprovable because we can't very well go back in time to the beginning (at least not yet!) I like this answer. Wisdom, indeed!

Richawriter - Thanks for agreeing with me. I don't know what are the meaning of the two negative vote. Are they don't like to have what I've mentioned? Yes, finding true religion is hard to find. But it is easy to determine.

Well, I believe the Holy Bible where God created man and where man communicated with the creater. Gods can come from an empty place in our hearts and souls which can cause an entity to gain a lordship over us. Therefore, I would not say that other gods are copys but are the products of an empty heart and soul wanting a leader and fullfillment.

Well, I believe we are all yearning for an answer deep inside, whether that be an inherent part of us through science or religion. I would just like a hint, a clue as to what comes next. Do we keep on evolving and swamp the universe?

Ah, very thought provoking chapter. So that is what is coming, according to the bible. So we are also to experience a great culling of the human race before this judgement that is to take place? In a thousand years, will those who sinned live again?

Those who REFUSED Salvation † live again AFTER the Millennium is OVER for ONE LAST CHANCE (Rev 20:7-8) [WHERE are they DURING the 1000 years?] NO GREAT CULLING; On THE Contrary: "The Gospel MUST 1st be PUBLISHED in ALL nations; THEN COMETH THE END"

haha yes, I just saw that. Amazing how discussions of religion draw out the passion and ardor of people! I will hold back from saying much on religion as I am not religious myself, at least not in the traditional sense. Religion is intriguing though!

After searching for years I have concluded that no one will ever be able to prove that a religion is a true or the only right path.  Prove no, I do not think anyone could prove what the right path is unless the God of all existence came and set us all straight at the same time.

I do think that each tradition helps the soul on an eternal journey back home to Godhead.  I think that there is good teaching in all the recognized scriptures, we as living spirits just need time to purify our consciousness and deeds so we could eventually make it back home to Godhead.

The real religion is to love God and God has many names and forms.  God is infinite and could reciprocate with all of us if we choose to let God into our hearts.  This would be more benificial than fighting over who has the best religion. Love all living beings animals included and try to be peaceful, this is the start of the true religion.

    Best wishes

Darrell, that is an excellent answer! I wholeheartedly agree with you. The problem today is that we are still competing for the bragging rights and feel the need to be the 'best' both religously and in every other way! Better o just exist and love. :
