Can anyone prove that reincarnation does not occur?

I notice that many questions ask for proof of religious and philosophical concepts. This question is all about the idea that our bodies are no more than clothes. To be changed when the time is right. When we die do we return to life? Can anyone show that it does not happen?

My biggest deal with perfect reincarnation is the fact that the number of humans rises and falls. If all lives are recycled, then wouldn't there never be more or fewer people in the world?

People can be reincarnated as animals or plants. Law of conservation of matter states that nothing can be created or destroyed, only changed. While you get more humans, you get less plants and animals.

I heard a curious thing: when humans kill animals, eg cows, it gives cows the right to next inhabit a human form. This would explain the explosive human population we have these days, with the gigantic amount of meat eating that goes on. Who knows!

From my earthly point of view here, I believe that the body is the main driver  and the soul is an added element to guide us according to the spiritual world of God. Therefore, I doubt very much that reincarnation take place all the time, but it may happen that it takes place sometimes.

good question, it's a belief system for most of us and unprovable in a scientific way. there have been children who remember living before and slowly over the years tend to forget, but this is not proof to many. I believe it is true, because it explains why I had chosen the mother I had in this life. I owed her big time for something I did to her. I ended up saving her life this life, now we're even and it's a great feeling. but it's personal belief. not provable pro or con. Most of us just have to wait and see and try to be comfortable with not knowing. if you read NDE, sometimes you can intuitively pick up knowledge that way of what comes after...
