Have you ever had to argue with God over an answer He has given you?
Once God told my wife and me to have another kid and we did not want to do it. we prayed seperately together and received the same impression each time with greater force to have another kid. We even went to our bishop at the time with all the complants about expense ans such.
Bishop Nelson said, why are you telling me about it. What do you eexpect me to do, God has answered you! We thought he would tell us we misunderstood the confirmation so that we could feel good ignoring God. The only thing is each time we prayed he would remind us of what to do. I am glad we listened.
If you know God is leading you to do something, follow what he is leading you to do. You can't see the future like God can, you don't know what the plans are for the future. Read the book of Ruth. Naomi had everything go wrong in her life, she thought was furious with her and she was ready to give up. Her husband and 2 sons died, but her daughter in law Ruth loved her and stood by her. Ruth married Boaz and became the grandmother of King David who had to be born for Jesus Christ to be born as a man. You don't know the future, God does.
No. I have wondered in my human arrogance, "Oh God what are you thinking?" But he always ends up being right! Imagine that!
But I am always cautious when I hear people say God "told" them to do something because our own conscience "speaks" to us as well and at times it is very hard to discern what God is trying to tell us or what our own nature is telling us.
I denied GOD'S call for years, then HE put me in the sick bed so HE could reason with my good arguments. HE finally brought me up and put me behind the pulpit where I stayed for over 15 years and I am still a licensed minister.
You know HIS ways and thoughts are much higher than ours and HIS plans are far greater than man's.
Glad you love your latest baby
What a magnificent story of yours. I love the way God works in our lives to help us develop personally and to help others. That was my fourth child BTW. We have seven in all, with six still living
This is marvelous I was pregnant 9 times but only have 3 living. Praise the LORD for your children.
Could I ask a stupid question? What does BTW stand for?
GOD has richly blessed you and your family

Have you noticed that it is only Christians who constantly argue about God and his will? Why do members of other religions have a consentaneous interpretation of the Creator and his will?
