   I am assuming your discounting Ghostbusters, Supernatral the TV series Scooby Doo -the Ghost and Mrs Muir.... So are you ooking for GhostHunters on Tv or Paranormal investigations. there  are countless legends from the headless horsemen to Bloody Mary to steve mcqueens "little bastard car". Theres a new show haunted collector , Ghost Chasers-TV  ghosts of Mummies Tutankhammen, Thunderbirds of the SW. The ghost ships of the east coast and carribean... Ladies in white, get rides then disappear there has to be 1000's not just from USA- theres yjr houe of Baba Yaga, Dracula, lighthouse maidens, heck hlf the famous buildins in europe....or the White House

   Yes, that of "Our Blessed Lady" in Fatima, Portugal. One of the children witnessing this miraculous apparition that many others were to see as well, became a nun and served her church for many years.This occurred in May of 1917 and an angel of peace appeared before three shepherds and one year later the Blessed Mother Mary appeared before three children there. The nun became a confident of the pope and wrote several letters about what Mary had told the children. These were kept secret for several years and finally written,and the letter given to the pope. Some say it was about the pope and others about the world and what was to come. It has always been held in a shroud of mystery. As for ghosts or spirits, they do exist and I believe that it is in another dimension and at times can enter our own. With billions of people from the past who have passed away, there surely must be many to reveal their presence,

   Whonuwho brings up a great example with the apparitions at Fatima. Since  Marian apparitions seem to qualify for the type of spiritual manifestation you were looking for, I suppose we can add the apparitions at Chapultepec/Guadalupe, Mexico; Lourdes, France; Knock, Ireland; Belgium; Medjugore etc.
