Why is the subject of money discussed more in the Bible than any other subject?
Money is mentioned more in the Bible because that is what people seem to seek after more than anything else. With money comes power and respect, though it is mostly a false respect.
The love of money is the root of all evil.
Money is not mentioned the most in the Bible. Different forms of money such as Gold and silver are mentioned several times. The subject of sin and iniquity (Sin) is discussed more in the Bible than any other subject.
Thanks for your answer, and I appreciate you answering. Maybe I should have asked, why is the subject of money discussed so much in the Bible? I can see (sin) being the top subject, as well as love too.
I guess the reason was like is now: it is the topic that interest people the most and will always be a central problem.
Sadly, this is a great mirror to our society, in which the money gets the most attention - much more than health, love, friendship, etc.
Exactly! It is okay to have money and wealth, so long as we do not worship it or become enslaved to having it. The love of money is the root of all evil, not having money. But if you start to love it so much above everything else, especially God .
