Why do some say there will be no rapture before the Great Tribulation?
I say there is no rapture before the great tribulation starts because of what I see described in the book of Revelation. As in my hub "Summary Chart of Revelation's Major Events" I see earth is harvested in the middle of it--what is the actual rapture--right before the fullness of God's anger is poured out on the earth. See my chart at the bottom of the hub. Or, I describe these events in the order that they occur as seen in Revelation in my hub, "Losers in End-Time Rapture of Revelation".
Probably most do not believe in a rapture simply because they do not take the Christian Bible as the word of the one true God, this writer included. First of all in terms of numbers of followers, Christianity is a minority religion. Secondly, even within Christianity, there is wide interpretation as to the meaning of the book of Revelation. Finally, myself and others simply do not see the issue as relevant to our daily lives.
Again, Christianity is the largest religion in the entire world. Do your homework. This is a fact.
According to the Pew Forum report on the size of the world's Christian population (pewforum.org/christian/global-christianity-exec.aspx), Christians comprise some 32%, less than a third, of the global populace.
According to Wikipedia it is the largest religion on the planet earth.

Simply because people do not want to believe they will be left behind to go through the tribulation period, so they call it nonsense. People will always reject what they fear.
So, it is your belief that there indeed will be a rapture before the Great Tribulation, right, Jeff?
Yes Eric, I do believe this. I have studied the book of Revelations and have come to this conclusion. I do not think God will put his children through the tribulation, they do not deserve it. They have already given him their souls.
Jeff, This seems like you are answering the opposite question: Why do some say there WILL be a rapture before the great tribulation. Right? The question was, instead, why NO rapture before the great tribulation. Or, am I missing something?

Will the Church be raptured before the Great Tribulation or at another time?I am a sort of in between concerning this topic, but I lean toward a post tribulation rapture of the church. What are your thoughts on this subject?

Is the Great Tribulation 7 years or 3 1/2 years, and when does the rapture take place?Personally, I call myself a Post-Tribulationalist, with a Pre-Wrath twist.

Why do most who profess Christianity believe the rapture LIE instead of scripture? The scriptures say "as it was in the day of Noah, when the flood came and took away the UNbelievers" and there are a great many scriptures proving that the believers are to inherit...

Christians have their view and reasons for it. This doesn't matter as far as salvation. Salvation is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ because He shed blood for our sins and we accepted His sacifice as a gift.1. Wouldn't it be better to be raptured prior to the...
