Can robots dream?
No Robots cannot dream. How can they dream? They are just a piece of machine created by a human being. They do not have any emotions. So they can't dream.
The human body is a machine and yet human machines dream. Also emotions are no more or less than electro-chemical motions taking place within the mind caused by health and interactions between the human machine and outside world. Are robots able?
Andrew not sure the analogy fits that robots = people due to electro-chemical balances etc.... This reductionist approach to life just doesn't work. Of course science loves it..
According to Azimov robots had positronic brains capable of abstract sentience. Therefor they could dream! In sci-fi world that is...
Not really. I thinks humans I haven't gotten to that stage of inducing the human aspect of emotion to a machine. Therefore they can't dream
Ask Philip K Dick, if you have access to the after life.
As of April Fools day 2013 robots cannot dream or I may add they cannot really think yet either; however, they can indeed dichotomize rapidly to reach an optimal decision. No worries yet...Sincerely,John Connor
No. They don't have brains. So they can't dream.
