    Do you often have nightmares?

Do you ever have dreams about your biggest fears? Or maybe something you didn't know you feared till you dreamt it? What was that fear or dream?

I'm sorry to hear to that. Was your dream specificly detailed or just a wedding to this uncared for person?

Falling dreams are very strange and scary. I had a reoccurring one where two of my brothers would keep throwing me through a window and suddenly I would just be falling and then it would feel as if I fell into my body. I wonder what falling dreams me

i search from different sites and even ask my other friends about the meaning of falling in dreams. they say that it is connected to your life, that as if you were trying to fix something that is not under your control.

Had a lot of nasty nightmares when I first got home from Iraq, but they went away for the most part - now my main nightmares are dreams where I cllnch my jaw and teeth so hard that they break/shatter.
And being naked in public - those always crack me up more than anything, but are kind of embarrassing during the dream.

I would very much dislike dreams like that. Thank you for your share

I don't often have nightmares, but when I do it's usually a warning that something is up. Nothing usually overly serious normally happens, but its the knowing that something will happen that makes the nightmares and the waking up dreadful!

So you are usually aware of the meanings  that your dreams bring fourth? That's very cool.

I don't dream very much at all or at least I don't remember my dreams by the time I wake up but when I do dream they seem to always have a deep meaning. I have only had one nightmare that I can recall and it even had a meaning that made me make some major changes in life.

Maybe try keeping a dream journal. You can write down the ones you remember when you wake up.

No, I very rarely have nightmares.  I guess I differentiate between nightmares and bad dreams.  To me a nightmare is horribly frightening and sort of remains with you when you wake up.

I do have bad dreams or upsetting dreams on occasion.  Finding yourself on a toilet in public and wondering how you will get up without anyone noticing, silly things like that.  Or may be trying to get home and dialing home and the phone won't work or when you go to dial that last number, your finger slips and you have to start again.  I guess I would call those frustrating dreams.

Yes, I can agree that would be very frustrating. I used to have dreams where I was driving but I couldn't steer right and I would crash. Needless to say I woke up angry. Thank you for your share.

I used to have nightmares or weird dreams that I remembered. Now, if I still have them they don't seem to register any more.
One I had was being trapped underground (or in a confined space I couldn't get out of). What seemed to trigger them was a gap in the curtain or a high, horizontal window in the wall that wasn't curtained. It could be embarrassing sometimes.
I wondered if bad experiences could be inherited in dream form,  because my great grandad and his father worked in the ironstone mines in East Cleveland (North Yorkshire) and they might have had (a) bad experience(s) underground, having previously been agricultural labourers (you know, alien environment and such).
Another was waking up in the night, going to the toilet and, thinking I was in someone else's house, I crept around looking for a way back. I had that one for ages!
I mentioned both to my wife and people I knew, but no answers were forthcoming.

I used to have a reoccurring nightmare where in it I would be riding a bike at night through a junk yard. Every time I reached the end I would ride through a puddle. Every time I rode through the puddle it would cry and I would stop and look back in the puddle and it would be my mothers reflection softly sobbing. It broke my heart every time I had that dream.
