What evidence is there that God truly exists?

    just a question..

None, although, as the old saw goes, lack of evidence doesn't prove lack.  There may or mabe not a God; any being that is controlled by emotion, has an awful lot of work to do to get off of the Great Wheel.

I think the evidence is clear, it is all around us.

I been led to certain places and things God is doing for me and my family.

I say this with faith and no one is going to change my mind.
The miracles and many stories people share, even on here.

Also the bible is a good start and even through we have not seen God, does not mean he doesnt exist.

WE have no excuses for not believing in God, we hear about it, talk about him, and feel him all the time, so if we are to be punished we cannot say why as I do not believe there is a God.

This brings me to this scripture

    Romans 1:20
    King James Version (KJV)

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

    Just my opinion
    Thank you

There is so much evidence everywhere we look including ourselves ,nature etc. you would agree a house cannot just arrive out of nowhere - someone has to create it -- How much more so then  must there be a creator for us and the earth itself etc . The amazing way babies are born and so much more ........

You, Me, and all of mankind.  Otherwise, we find ourselves in a real dilemma much like - which came first, the chicken or the egg.
all big-bang crticism aside - if there was not a God, then who stirred up all the materials that resulted in the big-one?
Miracles occur every moment - but few see them clearly because they rely on touch rather than thought to experience them.
If you choose to touch the hand of God, then you can truly feel the warmth of the divine body.
In the flesh, humans travel a oneway trip.
But in the spirit, humans travel many roadways to glorious resurrection.

the chicken came first as God created animals to multiply. God created the chicken before the egg.

The existence of all things are not by accident. Our creator is mighty. What evidence proves God does not exist?  I will believe until such time it is proven to me otherwise. I hope to meet you all on the other side.

To some it appears that there is indeed, little evidence; however, the evidence is indeed prominently displayed; if you will, it is already within us. By no means am I an expert in this field; I am merely a second-rate psychologist, professor and the  lesser of 2-halves. What I mean when I state it is within us; is this...
When you ask yourself what course of action you should take; usually within yourself, you decide based on 3 principles; (the order of these principles can vary). Perhaps initially you contemplate the most logical path based on parameters that exist, then perhaps the ideal path without parameters; however, you always contemplate if the path appears right or wrong; and/or will it result in negatives for you or even others (I hope). This "right or wrong" nature is built into us, it was basically there in our beginning. This to me, is the most profoundly significant argument that there is a God. Our decisions seem to be based on this parameter of right vs. wrong or if you will, this standard! Where did this standard come from? Some will argue it is formed culturally yet it does exist in most all cultures; even ones that have been somewhat isolated for centuries or more.
Yet i will not stop there simply because I believe the existence of "coincidences" are also profound to discern this evidence of God. Most all have had "coincidences" happen to them. That is being placed in a time and space with another with no apparent reasoning to explain it. This is that proverbial "hand of God" whether one wishes to recognize it or not... I will end here; however, remember to "listen" for His "signs"...

The universe exists, therefore He IS.

Rene Descartes, a brilliant scientist and thinker, who gave us "cartesian" coordinates, also thought of "dieu en moi" (God in me).

Part of the "proof" is our own spiritual nature. And spirit is superior to physical reality. I have seen this. I have seen the nature of creation and the persistence of time. Spirit has control over this. Assuming the viewpoint of spirit, instead of ego or Homo sapiens body, one is able to create what science would call "miracles."

But if proof would solve anything, then God would be down here right now showing us all manner of miracles. The trouble is, "proof" is only for ego. It's a crutch. The method of our escape from this trap of physicality requires humility to quash ego, and faith (perfect confidence) to rise above doubt. It requires self-LESS-ness.

I have seen the world around me without human eyes, but that was only when ego disappeared. Regrettably, that lasted only a few moments, but it was enough to define my life. Years later, I learned of the mechanics of creation and saw numerous miracles -- one very much like that of Moses parting the sea.

These things are topics within my upcoming book. Shocking discoveries! Proof of Noah's Flood and the identity of the culprit who made it necessary.

The butterfly.  In comparing with evolution as another possibility, the butterfly could not exist because the change from caterpillar to butterfly obviously does not happen one small mutation at a time over millions of years.  Also, with regards to mutations, the only mutations I have ever observed were ones that killed a creature, not made it better.  For instance, I have seen an 8-legged baby fawn in a museum.
The complexity of nature could not come about randomly- try throwing some flour, sugar, eggs, baking soda, cocoa, and milk in a paper bag; light some dynamite, and see if you get a chocolate cake out of that.

Couldnt science explain all of that?

Sure, science can explain a butterfly.  Science also has a law- the law of entropy- the degradation of matter and energy over time. Their own law trumps their "theory" of evolution. Why do scientists elevate a theory over a law?  It puzzles me.

Your faith. Because faith is the answer of all the questions!
