What happens when a Christian dies?
Do they instantly go to heaven or do we sleep and await Jesus Christs return? The bible says "to die is to be with the Lord" but the Bible also says that the dead will rise when the last trumpet blows...so what happens? Is this a contradiction or a puzzle to be solved? Can somebody piece this together for me?
All Christians will ascend to heaven because the blood of Jesus Christ would have purified them all! (I really came to know some such explanation by somebody!!)
Our souls will be with Christ immediately in Heaven. Our flesh will remain in the grave until the trumpet sounds at the second coming of Christ.
Actually, you are speaking of two separate events. If you die before the rapport, your spirit will joint Him immediately. However, if the rapport take place before your die then Christian will be immediately changed and caught up to meet Him in the air. In other words, your body will be transfigured to its' glorified state, as Jesus' body is now.
be blessed....
FROM: WATERSTAR: Who or What is a Christian,a Christian is just a name given to a Certain group of people that Choose to follow the teaching of Jesus Christ, and there are so many different belief group, and most of them is going no where because all they have is the name But no Life Living Like Jesus Example,so when they die they will not see Jesus,as it is said blind follow blind both going nowhere. Verily Verily i say unto you except a man be born of the WATER- AND THE - SPIRIT HE Cannot Enter the KINGDOM OF GOD.if you want to see JESUS WHEN YOU DIE ,you must first do as his apostle taught in the Book of acts Chapter 2 verse 38, REPENT- BE BAPTIZE IN JESUS NAME- BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST or Holy Spirit which is the same then if you die you get to see Jesus and Live with Him forever,When you die you Spirit go to be with Jesus right away but your body stay in the ground until the RAPTURE Or Jesus next coming at that time he raised your body and connect it with your spirit and make it all new pack with immorality where you will never die again, Jesus said HE HIS THE DOOR BY HIM if anyone enter in Jesus he shall be save, so ad 2 + 2 for yourself and see what answer you get, accept Jesus now before it is too Late for you and you missed glory. the Rapture is near Jesus is Coming soon indeed Jesus is the Best Father there His he Love all the people and Children of the World for the earth is the Lord and All the people in it. When it says "to die is to be with the Lord" it is not speaking of physical death. This refers to dying to self, taking up your cross and following Him. When you choose Him over the worldly life His Spirit dwells within you (the rebirth with fire). That is the death it means. The last one speaks of the dead rising in the end times.
