Next month I am heading out. My wife and I are going to Costa Rica for our much anticipated retirement. Some selective people should send me a message if you ever think you may be heading that way. I'm sure we will enjoy the occasional guest. "Pura Vida"
Sooner, It's been more than intersting it's been a pleasure. I'll miss ya, brother.
Sniff, you too.
if you go that way, give me a shout.
Why are you saying goodbye? I am writing this from Costa Rica right now - living proof that they have Internet and that you can access Hubpages without problems.
I know it works. It will be a good excuse to walk away. Hows the weather?
I am near San Jose so we have a fairly steady temperature all year round (80 to 86). Now its the dry season here, blue skies, sunshine, no rain, no humidity. I was in Panama last week and it was much hotter and more humid.
Whereabouts will you be in CR?
congratulations. hope you enjoy your retirement
You were always a good one to debate with ... always held to your beliefs and maintained your integrity, and I alwyas respected that. Though we did not always agree on everything, know that I will miss you and that I wish you well.
May God be with you and may your retirement be long and enjoyful!
Well a safe and uneventful trip to you and yours, sooner. I hope life becomes even better when you've got the luxury of time to kick back, relax and take in the world around you
If I do, thats because its raining out. Yes, we will be there for good. I have bought a small place in Panama and CR so that I can bounce between the two without citizenship and a slight change in climate- panama home is jungle and tropical, Costa Rica home is mountainous.
Would you two like a room?
Lucky you, I can't wait to reach retirement age. Hopefully, I will have some money to sustain me so I can move somewhere warm...
Im gonna miss you earnest. I will think of you when I'm loosing weight at the bano with a "~" over the "n".
How wonderful!!! You can still be on HP but I understand retirement we will be there one day.
Enjoy your new life, and be safe. I did my jungle training in Panama and except for the rain, insects, humidity, killer frogs, and snakes, I loved it. Costa Rica is the home of my favorite coffee. Either way I am envious. You've been a good sport more then a few times and I have enjoyed arguing with you. Take care.
Yoshi, Scott- thank you both. It has been fun. I found you both to be worthy adversaries and Allies. God be with both of you.
Congratulations! Costa Rica is a beautiful country! We've been considering moving there ourselves (more for work than retirement though).
All the best for your retirement!
