Does God also make mistakes (sometimes)?

It is believed that God is perfect. It means He makes no mistake. But look around!

What do u mean look around do you mean what's happening to the world?
No Gods thoughts are not like our thoughts
As for mistakes we were given the tools to fix it but we used them to our own selfish destruction so we.made the mistakes if this is what you mean. Good question
    Blessings

Man has been given free will. Even to make mistakes. God can always create another disaster like the great flood and start all over again if men get too out of control.

Your ignorance about Him let you fell in these disasters.

You are not worthy of a comment, so I will leave it at that.

The God of the Bible made disastrous mistakes. First He made two imperfect people, then gave them rules that could only be understood by perfect people.  Of course Adam and Eve failed.  Any six year old should have seen that coming.  Then when His new plan didn't work, He had to drown the entire population.  It would seem that there could have been a more benevolent way to start over.  Later on, when yet His newer plans didn't work out, He had His only son tortured and murdered.  And still this isn't working out either.  But why would anyone expect it to work out?  This God has shown himself to be a complete bumbling idiot, like Wyle E. Coyote.  Of course, He spends all of His time blaming it on His creation(man)while He is the epitome of incompetence.  It would be horrific if this was really the creator of the universe.

I think your comment is blasphemy
It's also not saying too much about the humans he created
However you do have a right to your opinion I state mine in the nicest way
      Blessings

Of course it's blasphemy. I'm not afraid of your childish bumbling God. If he can't make perfect humans, then he shouldn't be God. He also created FREE WILL. Does anyone even question such a silly move? He can't be God, but blame us for his mistakes.

      Two words "FREE WILL"

I am sorry to say that, If you are rightful believer you can not at all even dare to utter such a question. To those who know their creator very well and always afraid of Him it is totally impolite to expect such a question from a grown up man. I advice you to read more about the God who is ONE in order to know Him better. This applies to all religions and not a particular one.

"Free Will"(the excuse people have to kill and rape), birth defects, major illness, all sicknesses, still births, Male genitalia on the outside, the entire aging process. I could go on and on. I'm sure in some people's opinions these things have nothing to do with a fault of their God, however if a God is all powerful some of these things simply don't make sense and should have been thought of prior to creation.

God does not make mistakes. People do. God gives free will to everyone that is on this earth. People's "bad choices" have influenced so much of the "mistakes" that you refer to. Who depleted the ozone layer? Who polluted this world. Ans do on and so on. One has free will given gracefully by God. Who has chosen to make these dire mistakes? Yes, the answer is man.

Giving man FREE WILL is what caused all this evil.  Therefore it was a BAD choice. You can't pass God's mistake onto the beings that he created.  That's like blaming my cake because it burned in the oven. Any six year old can see that makes no sense.

geterite...... people like you like to babble on about things they do not even believe. WHY?? I could really care less about what you have to say because it is mere trash and ramblings straight from the devil. Yes, the devil is using you as a mouthpi

      JT,
In other words you choose to get angry because I told the truth about your bumbling silly God. You seem to be a very angry Christian, mentioning childish things as devils. LOL.  And it's because you have nothing but lies to debate the subject.

getrite... I am not an angry Christian. You my friend are not even worth the time I am taking to respond. Enough said.

Talk about bumbling and silly - that is exactly what someone is who tries to critique God without any understanding of who he is. You aren't  even capable of controlling your own body's workings & you think you can  dictate to God what he is?

JThomp, having read the discourse between you and getitrite, I must say that it appears he has indeed won the argument. What answers do you have for his initial response concerning free will?

Caleb..... As you have noticed I refuse to debate someone who is so trite as to call my God names. This is pure evil ramblings coming from this person's mouth.

      Caleb,
It's great to hear another voice of reason, instead of the ranting of delusional minds, who think that somehow believing in sorcery makes sense...and that they can win arguments using abject ignorance. ancient folklore, and personal attacks.

JThomp, while I don't necessarily agree with getitrite's conclusions, I was hoping that you would have a Biblical answer to his arguments. He raised a legitimate question and it appears that no one has been able to answer it from the Bible.
