Why do some Muslims condemn the morals of Western civilization but...
have no problem with Muhammad the prophet marrying a mere six-year old child (A'isha) - a marriage that was consummated when she was only nine years old?
I guess they stopped in time. Maybe that would happen in Europe centuries ago but Western civilizations have evolved for the better (and worse).
By all accounts, their relationship was one of love and true companionship and she went on to become an amazing and influential woman. Obviously no one at the time saw anything wrong in it, so we can assume that it was a marriage that abided by acceptable norms.
I think any factual number from that long ago should be taken with a fair bit of suspicion. Consider, for example, disagreements about the exact date that Jesus was born. I don't really see much value in being fixated on a number rather than the spirit and meaning of things. It doesn't really matter if Christmas is the exact day. It is the celebration of Christ's birth that matters.
Just like we don't need to know Aisha's exact age. We can simply assume, based on the spirit of the story (of a deep and valued love) that she was of an appropriate age and was always treated with kindness, love, and tenderness.
I think the reasons some Muslims condemn western civilization are for the same sort of reasons anyone condemns anyone: they WANT to, and cherry-pick reasons to do so.

There is a lot of wrong things happening in the name of Religion. Recently while talking about the recent blasts in India I was shocked to see one of my friends talking with so much of hatred for Muslims and Pakistanis. He said if he had the power he would put all Muslims in a frying...

If you could condemn a cartoon character to death, which one would it be and why?Yes, I know, it's a silly question. I assure you it is merely to bring some levity to the day, by no means is the question inspired as an attempt to gain insight on your individual propensity for sociopathy or...

Why do vegetarians and vegans condemn people who eat meat?We do not think they are crazy or speak poorly of them who can't stomach the thought of sushi, or even bacon or eggs for breakfast.

How can any decent human being think that it's OK to defend white supremacists and Nazis? No one can deny that's what they were, they had banners advertising the fact. I find it shocking that a President could take the attitude Trump has. If it's possible, he has sunk even...

Can our own guilt condemn us on judgement day even if we didn't necessarly sin?Take the deadly sin of Sloth for example. If on that day we feel guilty about something like we've wasted too much time when we were on earth or we didn't feel we accomplished what we should have because we were too lazy...
