Does Satan repent?
Revelations & gods word only depict a deception and new found understanding of the light bearers real meaning.
Through modern revelation in the book of "The Doctrine and Covenants" we learn that the devil cannot be forgiven. Without forgiveness, there is no repentance.
33 For they are vessels of wrath, doomed to suffer the wrath of God, with the devil and his angels in eternity;
34 Concerning whom I have said there is no forgiveness in this world nor in the world to come—
35 Having denied the Holy Spirit after having received it, and having denied the Only Begotten Son of the Father, having crucified him unto themselves and put him to an open shame.
God is the alpha and omega everything starts and ends with god. Why do you believe Satan is so powerful to take away gods children for eternity. I think it may be hard to grasp but in your deviation to Satan an entity that can escape gods perfect kin
Satan doesn't overpower God and take people away. People choose to follow the devil and reject Christ. God must respect peoples agency. If people want to go to hell for all of eternity he can't stop them.
Remember I asked you what's the effect of Satan bearing the light. Who do the people follow that worships Satan when he follows god in the end.
Satan doesn't follow God. He rebelled and leads us away from God.
" God must respect peoples agency. If people want to go to hell for all of eternity he can't stop them."
Are you sure? I think that has become a cliche in Christianity without consulting the Bible. I urge you to read two of my hubs on the subject.
Satan does not repent because he cannot--not able to. I submit that we, people, are in the same boat with Satan in which we are unable to repent and believe in Christ Jesus. For clarification, I urge you to read two of my hubs on the matter: "Divine Election: Predestined and Chosen by Grace" and "The Golden Chain of Salvation." Sorry, that's a little off-topic but I just wanted to point out that unbelief and unrepentant is not only a quality of Satan but that we share in his desire for evil and darkness. However, God is gracious and merciful to claim a people for Himself for salvation. Peace and God bless.
Very well said. We can't repent because of our own power. The only way we can repent is through the grace of God.
Very true he has been judge and sentence, and will soon be in a prison like state, not interfering with the New heavens a earth 2 Peter 3:13, but since he is still roving about now. He is blinding the minds of the unbelievers. But by their free will
There is only God. As such Satan and God co-exist together. Satan is the adversary, the opposing force which we must all conquer in order to reach our true Home. Do we feel Him in our greed, desires, insecurities, anger or hate?
Without the mountains there will be no valleys, without the shadow there is no perception of Light. We measure our love by the hate there is and our darkness by the Light that we see. In the same way, good and Ignorance (evil) or Satan, are all necessary parts of the plan.
Can this supremely powerful force repent? Well, one day you will most certainly be a God-soul like the Christ and your so-called darkness will have been transformed. So in this sense, yes, but remember that this opposing Force or Adversary, will have to be faced by someone else. No one escapes the plan, and so you might say that Satan is a negative tool that works so that ultimately man can triumph and find his way Home.
God deceives, but it's part of our growth as His children.
Satan is an angel of God, doing God's work. There is nothing to repent.
God created the evil we endure and use. Kabbalah (from the ones who wrote the Bible) is the science of spirituality which gives us the path back to God, but in a different form. Now, instead of a creature that can only "receive," will will have the ability to "bestow."

Must the sinner wait till he has repented before he can come to Jesus? Is Repentance to be made an obstacle between the sinner and The Saviour?"Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavyladen, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

I think the question is an interesting one.But to answer it we need a real definition of its meaning.Latin word “Re-Ligare”. “Ligare” means “to bind” or to “connect”. Adding the “re” before “ligare” causes the word to mean “Re-Bind” or “Re-Connect.”Also the another defintion says...

The Bible says that all one has to do is ask for forgiveness. Now being that, do you think that Satan might have already asked God for forgiveness? Now before you rattle off scripture.....I don't believe...but I could be wrong....that the Bible has nothing to say on that.
