In not over 10 words, what is God like?
A minister friend confided to me that he was confused by the differences as to how God is characterized in the Old Testament versus how He is described in the New Testament of the Holy Bible. I used the example of neighborhood children's perception of me versus my own children's perception of me their father. The neighborhood's children changed their perception of me after my children described me to their friends. So also did our understanding of God change when His Son taught us to know His Father as He really is. If you believe in God take a moment to describe Him.
Treats all of his followers the same regardless of religion
Unconditional love, perfect responsibility, utter humility (non-self-concerned), fearless confidence (faith).
The more like God we are, the closer we are to Him.
omnicient, omnipresent, loving, sovereign, holy, Father
The light of the heavens and the earth and everything in between.

If a doctrine or belief that is taught by the Church today was unknown to the 1st century Apostolic Church, is it a valid doctrine? Is it inspired by God, or is it a false manmade doctrine?
