The truth is what actually is.
Your question is incomplete. It's like the philosophy exam that has one question: "Why?"
The answer to that is either "Because" or "Why not?"
Truth is a reality, only humans can feel its essence, so the truth has to be personification of self and a true manifestaion of likes and dislikes. If the human nature is personified into thoughts and actions which in turn prove to be a solace to the heart... then it has to be "The Truth" . It has varied shades and every one of it has a bonding with the our nature. So truth is but solace to the heart, comfort of the eyes and absolutely free of confusions. The life becomes an embodiment of Truth, when a person stands for it, struggles for it and of course sacrifices everything for it.
