Do you believe that indifferent attitude acts as a detrimental factor in development of a person?
Indifference is what many people in power (both poitically and corporate leaders) tend to thrive on no matter where we live. Apathy is a problem and is growing. I can't pin this all on the young because I know a lot of college-age kids who are trying to make a difference. Indifference is something that permeates in all age groups. But a very small percentage of young people vote driven by a lot of naysayers who yell about money in politics, etc. This hurts their development as citizens and can have an effect on their thought processess. My parents encouraged me to be involved in some way. At school, at work, even as far back as Little League. People are becoming more isolated than ever (at least physically), and that will have a determental effect on society as a whole.
