Since animals have souls, they can to heaven.
Can they also go to hell ?
A question was recently asked by Canucks Goal here on HubPages, about animals having souls. SInce we all know they have souls and are also registered citizens of heaven, so to say, is it possible that some animals will also be condemned to hell? I understand we only know little or nothing about the spirit world of animals here on earth, but do they also sin like we human beings.
If animals can go to heaven, can they also go to hell?
Very much doubt it, as animals do not have reasoning capabilities, so they are unable to distinguish right from wrong. Why should they be punished, according to some religions, for something they have no control over, such as their natural behaviour?
I don't think animals have souls. They don't have the ability to reason and choose right from wrong. They just do what their instincts tell them to do. They don't murder--they kill for food. I don't believe they can go to hell. But I do believe they are innocent and go to heaven when they die. I also believe that demons can possess them. Think of those two lions featured in the movie "The Ghost and the Darkness."

There has been such a heated discussion about pets when they pass. I am curious, do you believe all animals go to heaven or do you believe in something else? When our beloved Cocker Spaniel passed away last year, I believe he went to heaven and I also believe he had his own individual soul. What...

Do you believe non-religious people, who lead a good life, are still going to hell? One of my biggest frustrations with religion is the idea that, how you live your life is of no consequence if you do not accept god. For example, John Smith is a good christian man who helps people, obeys the law and...

In your personal spiritual beliefs, do animals have souls? Are they interchangeable with human souls? In the past few days I've spent some time looking into my dog's eyes, and I can't decide what I believe...

If you were God, and had the power to forgive or condemn whomever you chose, would you let people go to Hell? Would there be a single person you would not forgive? If your answer is yes, then who would that be? and why?

I have observed how we humans are consumed by our desire to go to heaven when we die! No wonder we have feel good preachers and political leaches who prey on peoples ignorance! How can you believe a theory that has never been verified!Based on the concept of who is going to heaven as written in the...
