Fear? What's that?
Romans 8:38-39 "For I am convinced, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, not things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
As a mother, hands down, that would be some violent/painful tragedy befalling my children.
They never really "belonged" to you; they're GOD'S children! Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in THE WAY that he should go & when he's old, he won't depart." and IF so; "To be absent fm the body is to be present w/the LORD" (2Cor5:8)! Then,NO FE
LOL, you keep ranting on every response I give to others, and then you accuse me of stalking you?
My family is Pagan, Nor, as are my kids... we don't believe what you do. The question was asking my opinion, not yours.
I'm sorry for you & yours! You're responsible for them as in society & will pay for "We all must stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ" & (Since U don't believe) what if there is one; look what you've done to your kids!
MY GOD says "t
My kids are awesome, so if my kids are any reflection of our religion and our Gods, then they're flesh & blood proof that it's all good and you are wrong.
You need to get over the fact that not everyone in the world is Christian, Nor.
That's fine. But you realize after days of calling me names, attacking everything I say, trying to stir up fights, telling me your God is hateful and insists on you being mean to others, etc... you'll understand why I don't value your opinion much.
Not *my* opinion; but MY GOD'S! I "quote" HIS WORD & if you have a problem; take it up w/your "gods" & see who wins!
You & "your gods" have "ALREADY BEEN DEFEATED" (Rev 20:10)!
You see "hate" I see a FATHER as our bio fathers (Heb12:9
Me & my Gods aren't fighting. I don't have any problems.
I did not use the word 'hate,' you keep using it. You are the one who keeps telling me your God 'hates' me. I've only responded that I'm sorry you feel your God 'hates' people so much.
What's wrong w/your "gods," they don't know "correcting" fm "fighting!" I hope u knew when raising kids! Satan has NEVER "valued GOD'S WORD" so what makes u thk you're going to start now?
Yes, MY GOD "hates" unrighteousness & if yours were any k
Nothing wrong with my Gods; which is why They don't need to fight some imaginary war, and They don't need to send me to bully people.
I have a wonderful family; u really going to stoop so low that u're attacking us? You don't even know us. Pitiful
Cool Mackenzie, I think I know exactly where you are coming from. We are a sum total of our love both received and given.By your words you express your love which is no less than God.
Thank you Eric; in my beliefs, what we think is not going to matter in the long run. It's how we treat each other.
Dear lady Machenzie, I am tethered to earth not by my criminal nature or love of my body. I am tethered by my love for others. A bind that does not break. Religion is for folks who fear hell, spirituality is for those who have been there. Let Love.
Sorry demons, in order for you to insult me, I most value your unrighteous opinions. Eric agreeing w/unrighteous; Mac worshiping demons; GOD hates it & so do I! No u can "love" everyone Eric, but JESUS SAID "Get thee behind me SATAN!"
That one of the current candidates will become president of the United States...
I think that FDR had a great point of truth. "Only thing to fear is fear itself".
It seems to me that many many people, especially Christians, run their belief system based pretty much on fear of the afterlife. And it also seems to me that fear of future events is the greatest impediment to living in the now and love. If I fear my father or my Father then it interferes with my love for them. Perhaps even more so than hate or anger, fear keeps us in a bad place where love cannot reside.
So my greatest fear is not my fear of people, places and circumstances, but rather that I fear my God.
I Jn 4:18 "There is no fear in love ("If we love GOD we'll keep HIS commands" Jn14:15); but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear has torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love."
Why fear Daddy UNLESS u're not "keeping HIS commands?"
And who becomes leader of the U.S.A.
I am feeling somewhat pessimistic at the moment. Can we the people really affect those in power?? And slow down or stop the arms race?? Then I think in terms of numbers. There is a lot more of us than those in authouratative positions so technically if we move to a say shouldn't it work?
Scripture WILL BE "FULFILLED!"
Ezekiel Chapters 38 & 39!
No one in power has ever listened to the voice of the people. Once the top is attained people seem to think they're untouchable. History shows us when that happens, so does revolution.
Cecilia, you just made me think of the "untouchables" in India and the roaring twenties.Seems that both the king and the pauper are untouchable.
That I will not be ready when God calls me. Through His Grace, I'm doing what I can, but I feel that I can do so much more!!! Sometimes this makes me sad.
Awww! You break my heart! I wish you could "understand" & BELIEVE the WORD of GOD!
I'm saying that by nature I wish to do so much more ... Love more, so that I'm not found wanting. I know my own Conscience, as do you, Noreen. We cannot fool the Inner Voice.
It's not the "conscience" (experiences based on biology & background) GOD is concerned with; it's BELIEF (Heb 3:19) on HIS WORD!
Yes you can "fool the inner voice" IF taught wrong thing based on "experiences" (Rm12:2-3)!

Does the fear of hell influence your religious beliefs?

Think about this: God, out of profound love for us allowed his own wonderful, dear son be sacrificed for our sins. He didn't sin one time. He didn't die for himself. He died for us, to save us. This is why he is called the savior. Jesus sacrificed his life to save us from hell, which were prepared...
