   You are a part of the colossal Consciousness. You are a divine being section who has purposely overlooked your wholeness so that your experiences can be genuine. The day you experience this truth and take cognizant control of your musings is the day you proclaim your opportunity and start your dominance of life.

   This question breaks my heart!  I don't know why, but it made me "literally" cry inside!  Sometimes we have to "encourage ourselves in the LORD" as David did in I Samuel 6:30! 
   
   I don't know why MOST believe we are all serving the same GOD and it doesn't matter as long as we believe their is a Supreme Being (Matthew 7:21)!  Satan believes also (James 2:19)!  Scripture says "For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth,(as there be gods MANY, and lords MANY,) But to us there is but ONE GOD, the Father, OF whom are all things, and we (Not all; only those "IN CHRIST") IN him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, BY whom are all things, and we BY him" (I Corinthians 8:5-6)!   
   
   II Kings 17:29-41 says "They feared the LORD, and served their own gods, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away thence."  We are also doing this WITHIN CHRISTIANITY in the US!  Each has "interpreted" Scripture without the HELP of the HOLY SPIRIT and has created over 33,000 plus denominations in the US alone!
   
   JESUS SAID "IF YOU LOVE ME KEEP MY COMMANDS" (John 17:15)! How many have "obeyed" and "WAITED" for HIS HELP (John 14:26)?  How then can they experience "experiences that are genuine?" 
   
   RELIGION has taught MOST to RUN from the ONLY THING that will afford one the opportunity to "experience genuine experiences" by calling the HOLY SPIRIT "mystical and demonic" and having people believe HE'S Something that happened "back then" and not today; although Hebrews 13:8 says "JESUS CHRIST the SAME yesterday, today and forever!" 
   
   Satan is ELATED!  No "Communication Line" to HIM for HIM to "put HIS laws in your hearts and minds" (Jeremiah 31:33; Hebrews 8:10; 10:16)!  How SAD! 
   
   I cry, cry, cry!  I pray, pray, pray!
   
   LORD HAVE MERCY ON US!

   ALL Scriptures teach that God is Omnipotent; Omnipresent and Omniscient. Basically Spirit, with a capital 'S' is everywhere. I believe that they say in Quantum physics that matter - the form - is really Energy, the formless.
   
   Since Spirit/Consciousness/Energy is all where, then we are ourselves a part of this endless energy. It is referred to as a Soul or spark of the Consciousness that gives us life. Not separate from Consciousness, as it goes back to its Source when the physical form has served its purpose.
   
   Science falls down on the mystical aspects or esoteric aspects of this Truth, for it largely uses the mind. Something is mystical or esoteric, purely because its beyond the mind. Hence All scriptures speak of prayer, meditation, going within... it is the inner journey that will reveal the Light. Nice question.
   
   P.S The Goal is not to dominate life, by the way, although I empathise with your standpoint. It is to become a willing instrument in the hands of Something Higher... an Absolute Presence or whatever name one is happy with. 'Let Thy Will be done.' is the highest prayer.

      Sure we have "a spirit" but is not connected to THE SPIRIT unless we do as HE SAYS!  What part of that don't u understand?  You quote WORD but don't follow? How can u possibly think you are u connected?
      "If u love me keep my commands"(Jn14:15)!
