Why do people keep asking when a Jesus Christ will return?
If there was a Jesus to return...Why would he be waiting and what is he doing up till now?
Clive I think this is a very interesting question. But what is odd about asking this question is that they are asking other people. If you think about that it is silly. If you believe in Jesus Christ and have a personal relationship with Him then you just ask Him. You may not get an answer at all or you may get one you do not like. But if you have faith then why would you go to a third party. (unless of course that "3rd" party is the Holy Spirit).
Maybe it is good to discuss such things but really looking for an answer would require that communication upstairs not next door.
Clive, I think it's the uncertain times we are living in, so much turmoil, so much evil. People are looking for relief, and if you believe in God, then the thought of Jesus' returning gives a sense of peace. The downside to this is not everyone believes, so you naturally want all people to hear God's plan and turn to him in love and belief.
